I liked the price, and the size is small. I'm building a reciprocating machine but using old motors from a power wheel chair. They have 250w running but can pull up to 1000w at initial start up if not set at low speed. This cap helps not trip my PSU over current protection from the spike. Measured as it should.

Ordered this capacitor because it had the same specs as the original in the garage door opener. Installed it and the motor kicks on immediately and opens the door every time. The price was right and it works right.

I got this to replace the start capacitor on my drill press. the original capacitor isn't made anymore, so this was the closest rating. Honestly, it works better than the original did, motor starts right up, full power, and, the capacitor doesn't heat up like the old one did. Great buy!
