If your fan buzzes then this may be for you.My fan motor would buzz on startup and I replaced the capacitor and it works perfect now. No slow turning or delayed startup

I bought this when my A/C unit stopped working, I looked up a video on Youtube and figured out how to install it myself, and it only took about 15 minutes to install, and I now have cold air again. Works as described thank you! great price also.

After trying twice with Chinese made capacitors that keep failing the spec from my tester I decided to return them all and spring for the real deal.This one measures exactly over spec and I’ve noticed my AC is noticeably cooler now. Even if an out of spec capacitor still runs doesn’t mean it’s running well. Always replace capacitor if you feel the system isn’t running cooling like it used to.Even better if you know how to measure capacitance do that first. Test once a year and buy a replacement for standby once you notice the capacitor has dropped in spec.

Ordered this and replaced the one in our unit. System came right back on. Recommend taking a picture of the wiring BEFORE disconnecting anything so you know what wires go where. Also be sure to turn off the breaker and power.

I measured the capacitance to be 5.04 uF, which is within the 5 +/-5% range. This capacitor works but I removed a star because the black and white terminals are slanted.Note that changing a capacitor can be dangerous, so make sure you know what you are doing. The old capacitor is still charged even with power turned off, so you need to discharge it.

So glad it was a great replacement. My AC at home was blowing hot air on the hottest day of the year and I didn't know what was wrong, but a friend told me that likely problem might just be the A/C unit capacitor and might just need to replace with a new one. I got this unit in 2 days and i have to say it saved me and the family.
