I’ve had this boom pole for YEARS now. At the time, it was the only option for a white boom arm on Amazon. Now, at least 2 years later, I’m back to get a matching one for my second setup. This mic has been able to hold a Shure SM7B and an Aston Stealth, both are on the heavier end of microphones that you’ll likely be using this. I’ve never once had an issue with the mount and have only tighten the arm once since I’ve bought it.

I recently added the BOMGE Microphone Boom Arm (MS-505-White) to my home studio, and it has been a fantastic addition. Right out of the box, I was impressed by the quality and sturdiness of the build. The white finish looks sleek and modern, which blends perfectly with the rest of my setup. The adjustable scissor arm design is incredibly versatile, allowing me to position my microphone exactly where I need it with minimal effort. Whether I’m recording a podcast, streaming, or just gaming with friends, this boom arm holds my Blue Yeti microphone securely in place without any wobbling or slipping. The arm moves smoothly and stays in place once adjusted, which is crucial for maintaining consistent audio quality.Installation was a breeze—everything I needed was included, and the clamp attached firmly to my desk without damaging it. The compatibility with various microphone types, like the Blue Snowball and Blue Yeti, makes it a versatile tool that I know I can continue to use even if I upgrade my equipment in the future.Another feature I appreciate is how compact it is when folded down. It doesn’t take up much space, and it’s easy to tuck away when I’m not using it. The cable management clips are also a nice touch, helping to keep my workspace tidy and free from clutter. If you’re looking for a reliable and flexible microphone boom arm for your home studio, the BOMGE MS-505 is an excellent choice. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and offers great value for the price. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a quality mic stand.

It looks great on my desk. I've had this for almost two years and it has given me zero issues.

Easily adjustable, sturdy, doesn't burn a hole in my pocket. Solid choice for anyone with a usb microphone or cheaper xlr microphones. It holds my AT2020 with ease and the arm is not too lose so that it falls and not to tight to make it impossible to move around.

I have a Blue Yeti microphone and it’s quite heavy. This stand is perfectly matching with the mic. Easy to adjust. Very simple

Didn’t last 30 minutes. It didn’t even extend like a boom arm is supposed to. It was stuck in this position. As I was sitting beside it reading reviews to see if others had the same issue, the spring inside broke and this piece in the photos shot out with vengeance scaring the heck out of me. I thought the arm had extended open under pressure getting ready to hit me in the face. My eyes got dinner plate sized lol. Thought I was a wasted for a second, game over with no extra men or continues. KO respawn location, hospital lol. Thought maybe I could put it back, but everything is built inside of the arm with no access of way of getting anything inside. I was talking to Amazon chat and she gave me an address and phone number to china like I’m about to call or write a letter. Amazon needs to encorporate a contact the seller button so we can directly speak with them like eBay before getting to the point of leaving bad reviews.

This is much better than my Maono stand. Its like twice as sturdy and much bigger. The only thing I really don't like is how extremely stiff it is. I don't know if its because it's so new or if it needs to break in but it's to stiff to even move with one hand (unreasonably stiff). Other than that its great and I'm gonna give it a chance. There is still 30 days for this to settle in. If you end up with a stiffy, just give it a bit of time.*****UPDATE*****The seller is awesome. Communication was a little bit tedious (3-4 days), so try and be patient because nobody is perfect but the resolution was perfect.I just wanted something brand new for my all white dream setup that I spent a ton of money on and as much as I love making custom things for my setup, this is the one thing that I didn't want to have to spray paint or modify in any way. These were out of stock for a bit and I almost bought a black one to spray paint, but I can't spray in a building, work with paint in cold weather and it would have just been a mess. The seller is very kind and sending me a replacement after I provided pictures showing the problems that bothered me the most, I couldn't provide pictures to show the the stiffness, of course. The important thing is that this was definitely a dud but the seller is handling it like a champ. A huge red flag for me was that someone slapped Amazon shipping labels on the retail box which is just pure laziness. All of Amazon products are always shipped in proper packaging, but this was not.It doesn't bother me as long as what is inside is fine, but, I'm not gonna lie, it kinda urks me a bit when shippers do that. So my experience is amazing, so you can expect yours to be amazing too and I will just leave this at that, unless there is something wrong with the replacement, then I will update on that too.I wish this seller success and prosperity.

The boomarm itself is absolutely amazing, i love it. But the clamp that comes with it is nothing more than cheap plastic. After about 2 months, the clamp broke so I had to order a heavy duty new one. But other than that I love this thing, It’s range of motion is amazing

Very good. Best I have had of the 2 previous boom arms I have used. I love the white as it disappears to my eyes.

This product looks good and works well for some applications. But, if you want to stretch it out to its full length, this product isn't the one. It can't hold the weight of a microphone (at2020 tested) when the bottom arm is stretched out all the way and just falls down.
