I thought this was a little pricey but I would buy it again without hesitation. It has a variety of spacers. The bearings are fantastic and the T47 cups are precision machined. Installation is very easy with an externally blind bottom bracket tool, which is very common. There’s one concern from a couple purchasers about moisture getting inside the plastic centerpiece, but simply putting a layer of Greece between the 2/2 will protect it from moisture intrusion

What it is: Black anodized aluminum English threaded (BSA) bottom bracket for 68/73mm bottom bracket shells and 24mm Shimano cranksets. Features threaded cups with 20t internal splines, 5° angular contact stainless sealed bearings, plastic internal bottom bracket dust shield, 2 pairs of different size black anodized aluminum crank arm spacers, 2 each of 4 different thickness stainless shell spacers, 3 2mm black anodized aluminum shell spacers, 2 black anodized aluminum bearing outer dust covers. No printed instructions, and the QR code connects to the Mortop website, which also does not contain specific instructions for this bottom bracket. Why I like it: As an avid cyclist with bikes that have Shimano drivetrains with 68/73mm English threaded bottom brackets, this is a welcome higher performance upgrade. Hardened alloy threaded cups install easily with an internal spline tool, and provide a clean look. The heavy duty sealed stainless angular bearings handle higher torque loads much better and will last longer than other bearings. I have a similar style bearing upgrade on my other bike, and it has lasted well. I like that these bearings are easily replaceable without having to remove the whole assembly—just remove the crank and outer dust covers. Plenty of spacers are included for setting up correct chain line according to your frame/crankset, threaded shell torque specs are clearly printed on the shells themselves. Since the website and packaging does not include instructions, and if you’re not familiar with installing bike components, the Park Tool YouTube channel is a great resource. I like that my bikes are standardized to this bottom bracket style, as I’ve got a very high quality upgrade spare at the ready. Overall, an excellent upgrade for your Shimano equipped road/mountain/gravel bike!

I ordered this to replace a square tapered bottom bracket to go on my gravel bike. Installation was pretty straightforward and my initial ride was very smooth compared to my old bottom bracket. The overall quality of this bottom bracket is very good and on par with the big players, as for longevity I cannot say as of yet as I have only just installed, if I had to pick fault it is with the price, I think for this price I would rather go with Shimano, but otherwise it’s a very good bottom bracket and worth considering if the price is right for you.

I have been really impressed with this bottom bracket. It's a unique and very modular design meaning you can just swap out the bearings themselves and reuse the housings. This is really cool to me and means that you have a lot of options as far as replacements when the stock bearings wear out. The shells are really nicely made and feel and look the part for sure. Despite the unknown brand it's a very impressive piece!

Got this to replace a bottom bracket that was creaking and cracking and so far I've been very happy with the performance. Riding has been super smooth and super quiet - exactly what I'd want in a quality BB!Installation was straight forward, however my only "complaint" would be the QR code in the box takes you to directions for the other two types of MORTOP BBs (Press and screw types). If you google a bit or poke around their website you'll get to the correct instructions :)Besides that, as others have said, it's not cheap but so far the performance has been stellar. The bearings also appear to be high quality and if it lasts, it'll be worth it!
