I really appreciate the Boveda product; these things are great. However, it was shipped in a heavy paper envelope having the sturdiness of a canvass sack.Inside, the Boveda box holding the individual packets was crushed, as if someone had stepped on it, or dropped a heavy box on it.Luckily, the heavy plastic that each packet is sealed in protected them from rupture.A great product, with shoddy shipping.

I received a box of 84%. The box was a complete mess, torn and put together with a sticky tape! Product seems to be OK, but I will use only 2 or 3. The 9 remaining will be stored unboxed. What a pity.

So many reviews on the internet and you don't know what to believe but do trust, that for the past 2 years, I researched, read and now have the best way to season a humidor. After so many trial errors, I found that for my humidor (Wood/350 count), I put in 14 of the Boveda's, 84 RH packs and I leave in there for 21 days. I know 14 is recommended but after 21, I put in 14 of the 65's and my sticks are great. This is the easiest and best way, go with Boveda's 84 for 14-21 days then replace with whatever RH you desire. I like 65s for Cubans.

Update: I have been buying this product for a while now. They are still good and I still like them. However, lately, the seller has been shipping them outside the box, in an envelope. This makes it weird to store on a shelf as they slip and always fall off the shelf. Maybe he is trying to save on shipping, but know this is not what is advertised (no box).Before starting to buy and use the Boveda Humidifier, I used to have to add water to the "water holder" in the humidifier. These unfortunately do not work very well, and holding the right humidity was always a challenge.A friend of mine introduced me to the Boveda Humidifier, and they are very easy to use. Depending on the size of your humidifier, you add 1 pack per 20 cigars (even though they recommend 1 per 25 pack, I found that not to be enough). It works very well for about 2.5 months (2 months in hot summers) and holds just the right amount of humidity.

I am not exactly certain how this little miracle package does it but it works! I have tried nearly every humidification device out there but this pouch does the trick quickly & efficiently. No messy solutions, no long waiting times. I put 2 84% pouches in my humidor (abt 70 cigars) and i a day the hygrometer registers just above 70 closer to 71% humidity. Perfect.The packs last a couple of weeks. You know when the are done because the turn hard. When they are in their prime they feel soft and jellowy, when they are done they become stiffer and ultimately hard a rock.Wouldn't trade them for anything.
