Haven’t used it yet but I did try it out and seems to work ok needs to be lubricated so it turns better!

Would be 0 stars but the caliper hooks are nice and work well. The caliper tool on the other hand is a waste of $. I don't know if I got a dud or what but mine had issues out of the box with the ratcheting mechanism. It also gets stuck on itself the machining is so poor if you close it "too far" aka retract it all the way, great start but I thought it might still work right? Strike 2 was I used it on one job, they were 2 piston front calipers on a Ford E250. These didn't even push the calipers all the way back in the screw popped out and stripped out. No not that the calipers were bad or stuck it didn't even expand far enough to push the pistons all the way back. It must be made out of recycled beer cans and broken dreams it's so soft.Save your hard earned money, I took a chance on this and severely regret that decision now out the $20 and have to order another caliper compressor. I think I'll just grab one off the tool truck this time and save the hassle. I don't even want to waste the time to send this thing back I'm so done with it....

Eh, I've used it once. It was almost easier to use C Clamps. They would not fit a small caliper

This tool works wonders as I used to have to use a giant C-clamp to decompress my breaks. This ratchet makes like work of the task.
