I loved this from the picture. I love the color and the cute little lid. I didn't even notice the size of the ramekin. I was surprised when I opened the package, but I still love it.I actually got this not for food, but to put flowers in. I needed a yellow vase and this does the trick. It is a perfect size for soup or mac & cheese or any other food you can eat out of a bowl.This is a baking dish as well so it is oven safe. And as you are eating, the handles are cool so you can hold your bowl.This ramekin is a great value and a great gift, You will not regret hitting order whether you use it for food or as a vase, it is a cute little pumpkin. Highly recommended. Just notice the dimensions 4" x 6".

This is a nice size (aprox 2 cups) ceramic pumpkin with lid. I got it specifically for Sodastream cap storage in my kitchen. I would also think about using it for packets of sugar etc. You could bake in it but I wouldn't want to clean it after that. The lid has an inside lip and you would need a small bottle brush to really clean it. I am not sure I would put it into a dish washer or microwave due to ceramic 'crazing' which are the little cracks it can get due to high temperature changes. I love pumpkins and this yellow pumpkin will stay up all year in my kitchen. Well made, good price, enough said!

Don't misunderstand me, this ramekin is attractive and versatile, but pay attention to the measurements. The 6" across includes the handles. So, this dish is smaller than you might think. But, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. This is perfect for gravy or for single serve dishes!The shape is attractive, the lid fits nicely, and the entire dish is very attractive.

I'm pretty skeptical about claims of "adorable" and "humorous" but this ceramic pumpkin really is adorable and, if you have my sense of humor, a little humorous as well. I got the bright yellow version and it makes me smile just looking at it.But this ceramic pumpkin isn't just a pretty face, err, gourd, err, pot. It's well made and well designed. The yellow glaze is bright and even, both inside and out. (There's the usual thin unglazed ring around the underside of the lid and the bottom of the pot.) It holds about 16 ounces, so good for candies, nuts, dip at a party, one or two servings of casserole, or a big bowl of soup (depending on your appetite). It's about the size of an acorn squash, at least the ones in my grocery store.The handles are excellent. The "pumpkin stem" on the lid is substantial and a right angle, easy for my old fingers to grasp and lift. There are two handles on the pot that are also easy to grip, even with potholders.The lid is a ceramic covering, not sealed tightly, so it's easy to remove and replace but has no pretensions to being airtight.I was planning to use this to hold knitting doodads (markers, tape measure, etc.) but now that I've seen it I think I'll use it for soups and casseroles and rice or noodles. I'm delighted with this ceramic pumpkin and recommend it highly.

This is a very nice looking ceramic pumpkin. The quality is very good, I can't find any flaws in the finish. Anything that looks odd in the pictures are just reflections, the surface is so nice that it is very reflective. It comes packaged pretty well from the factory and it's nice that they made the effort to protect it from damage.At the time I got this there were two color options, yellow and white. I debated for awhile but ended up going with yellow, I like the white too but I thought it just looked a bit bland and the yellow was more festive. I really wish it would have been available in a deep orange color but I still really like the look of this yellow one.So far I can't find anything to complain about with this. The look and quality are great and I'm really happy with it. I definitely recommend it.

While I haven't used it for cooking, I've repurposed this ramekin as a decorative piece for my entryway table, and it's truly a standout.
