I gave up on packaged cut cabbage. It was too wet, to much core and I never could use it up before it went bad. I went back to cabbage heads. This item works very well, and I can make just the amount I need. It also cuts very fine so easy to eat. The blade is sharp so be careful. I even bought a second one for future use if need be.

I wish I had gotten one of these a long time ago! I have always had to ask my husband to shred cabbage because I am not good at using a big knife. Not only can you shred cabbage but you can use it to shred other veggies! It's a win-win to have in your kitchen. I highly recommend this product for your kitchen!
