Purchased for my uncle to winterize his RV. I have one for my own RV and works great. Assembled unit, attached to RV and hose into antifreeze. Pumped twice, liquid went into pump then lost all resistance and will not pump anymore. I get things don't work, trying to reach anyone for a replacement it nuts. I'm just trying to help my uncle winterize his RV.I have tried a few times to reach anyone to replace or refund but I have no answers. This is getting crazy.

This pump worked exactly as expected. I was a little concerned when I saw the reviews complaining about the hoses not staying on, so I picked up some hose clamps in advance of winterizing my RV. They were not needed. It looks like there may be two version of this pump. I got the one with the white plastic fitting for the city water and had absolutely no problem.I did the winterizing by myself, so I had to run back and forth between the pump and the faucets to see when the pink antifreeze started coming out. Because of this, I probably used my antifreeze than I needed to. But even so, I only used about 3 1/2 gallons. So, at $4 a gallon x 4 gallons that's $16. A LOT cheaper than the $110 the RV store wanted to winterize my trailer.I highly recommend this pump!

I partially used this but also used the pump to move the antifreeze. Worked good enough

I used the hand pump to pump RV antifreeze in our fresh water tank. It is a very simple product to use and is worth the money. You are supposed to hook this up to your city water hook up on your RV or camper and winterize your water lines. I still use my travel trailer pump for that. This would be good to add a 50/50 water and bleach mixture when you dewinterize in the spring. And if you would need water at an electric only site, you could use this also to put water into your fresh water tank.

This simple pump winterized my 30 foot trailer in 15 minutes or less. I placed one hose(provided with oump) into the jug of antifreeze and the other hose hooks upto the trailers fresh water garden connection. Pumped through hot and cold water lines and poof. Done in a few minutes. I couldn't believe the simplicity and yet how well it worked. Fantastic!

Simple tool and did the job perfectly. The straight tube went into the anti-freeze jug, that cost about $3/gallon at Walmart. The flexible tube screwed onto the city-water inlet on my 17' camper. By opening each water control (sink cold, then sink hot, shower cold, shower hot, outside shower cold, outside shower hot) individually while the others were in the off position, I was able to pump anti-freeze through each line until I saw the pink antifreeze. Of course I poured some antifreeze down each drain and into the black water tank. Winterizing was pretty quick! (don't forget to bypass your hot water heater) Whole experience took 2.5 gallons per camper, as my friend and I have a 17' and 18' camper. We have never used the fresh water tank and did not put any antifreeze in the fresh water tank... thus the point of this pump simulating positive pressure from the water hook up at a campsite.

Bought this to put RV antifreeze into pipes of a summer home as part of our annual winterization process. The product is sold in a clear plastic package that, thankfully, is only spot-welded. As a result, opening the package was less painful than it might be, AND the package can be reused for storage of the pump and fittings. The clear tube was folded in half to fit in the package, leaving it kinked. It recovered its shape after a few minutes out of the package. The first couple of pulls were a little rough, but the pump operated smoothly after that. I drained and ran compress air before hooking up the pump. I worked from the high points in the system (faucets), pushing remaining water back to the low end (hose bibb/surface supply line). Once things got going, the plumbing system started siphoning antifreeze through the pump, making less work for me.One thing worth changing on this pump is the male garden hose connector. There is nothing on the connector itself to grab to tighten it into the house/RV connection. Removing the clear tube and grabbing the brass tubular part of the connector is risky, since the metal is thin and there is a real chance of crushing the brass. The appears to use the same connector. A male connector with a hex grip, like they offer on the , would make this pump even better. It got the job done. I'd buy this again, if the need arose.
