Easy way for you to fill your lawnmower tank, car or anything you own that uses gas. No need to lift a heavy gas can when this will do it for you with a push of a button. Fills your tank quickly. Has an auto shut off to reduce spills. It works like a charm and can be used over and over

Makes filling my racecar with fuel so much easier. I don’t have to hold a full fuel jug in the air filling the car anymore. My back appreciates it.

I’ve purchased many portable fuel pumps over the years, and this model looks very different. It came packaged with a singular fuel cap that connects with the holding tank (not supplied), which was very large, as seen in the picture on the site.At first glance, it appeared that I needed to purchase a new commercial-type gas canister to store the gas to utilize the pump. Frustrated, I put it aside and went to my old backup $25 pump to fill the mower since that one just needed a normal gas canister to drop it into and start pumping.Later, I revisited the instructions that came with the pump and noticed that the large cap that was provided had various-size cap opening threads inside it that fit a few different gas canister openings. It's not very obvious, but maybe a better option would be to provide a few standard-opening caps with the pump.I refilled our ATV, and it was very clean and fast—so fast that I had to watch it so it would not overfill the tank.Next, I tried it on a small farm tractor. It has a strong pump and can quickly empty the 5-gallon gas can. Outside of the cap confusion, I am very happy with its performance. It is a good tool to have in our barn.

This thing pumps great, I expected this pump to take a few seconds to prime but it was almost instantaneous pumping. I transferred diesel fuel from 1 tank to another and it was a breeze. Why haven't I got one of these pump sooner, it really save so much time and doesn't create a mess. The auto shut off feature is great and makes for worry free fuel transfers. The pump is very quiet. Pumping fuel can be a pain at jobsites, if you end up spilling a little people will smell it or you spill it on a driveway then you've got to clean it up. With this Tera pump I won't have to worry about spilling again.

Put this on a 5Gal VP racing jug in my toy hauler and it's worked out perfectly. Nice to be able to leave the jug strapped to the wall and just roll bikes in to fill up. I'm still on the same set of AAs after pumping it dry 3-4 times so battery life is great. Doesn't leak at all and I've got zero complaints, other than wishing I'd bought it sooner.

A pump with a long enough hose or pickup tube to reach the bottom of taller cans and race jugs. The hose is more than long enough to reach the bottom of 5 gallon race jugs but it can't get all the gas out. About 1/2" of fuel remains in the bottom. The cap doesn't thread on smoothly, The threads are snug, and you need grip the gas jug between your legs to get the cap on all the way, and because of this it's difficult to tell if the cap is all the way on. Another problem is the cap did not have an o-ring in it, and fuel will splash out, or pour out if the jug is tilted. The o-ring from the oem cap off the jug does fit, and seals up against leaks. I don't think it's going to be easy to find a proper size o-ring for this, so i don't need to keep switching the o-ring back and forth. The smaller cap also does not have a seal in it, but it did not leak. The pump does have a vent? hole inside the larger hole to stow the tube. This hole will leak (a lot) if the gas can is laid on it's side, otherwise the caps did not leak after installing the o-ring.The pump does feel and appear better constructed and with better materials than 2 other battery operated pumps I have had.It took 3 minutes, 56 seconds to pump 5 gallons of gas. The gas can was on the ground and pumped into a jeep. If the pump did not have to "lift" the gas so high it would probably be faster,This pump comes really close to be 5 stars, but a few issues hold it back.

This is not my first TERA PUMP transfer pump, and there is a reason why I have more than one. They just work. They've been upgraded over the years to be better and better. Some upgrades to these new models. Vinyl hose (51") is very durable. The old style hoses would get damaged very easily and that has been fixed by using vinyl hoses. A huge upgrade. The metal impeller housing, I cannot say I ever had a problem with the plastic ones, but metal is obviously going to be more durable and less likely to break apart. Another big upgrade. The universal threaded adapter, in my experience with these pumps, has worked on everything I own. I've yet to find a can it won't thread onto but if I ever do, I'll be sure to update here.Battery operation. It takes 4 AA batteries. I never really pay attention to this but they claim these will last for 250 gallons of transfer. At 2.5GPM, that's 100 minutes of transfer time. Like I said, I never really pay attention but that sounds about right.Nozzle is simple but effective and convenient. You can press the lever with your fingers, just like most pumps, or you can turn the lever on the nozzle to lock it on for a continuous flow. Swivel connection on the hose to avoid twist and kinks.Overall, it's a very effective unit. The quality is good. The unit itself feels solid. It can save you time and a backache. Insert batteries, nozzle in place and press the on button. That simple. I previously mentioned owning other units of the same brand, and they all still run flawlessly after a lot of usage. I trust this will hold up, too, but if not, I will be back to update my review accordingly.
