I'm recovering from a broken bone in my leg and this is great for my stabilization. I put it in front of the sink while I'm washing dishes and try to stand up straight.

I needed one for travel, and had it delivered to my travel destination the same day. It did the trick for my needed physio, but it's not as stable and heavy as my regular board. Good for travel though. Really light and smaller.

Already knew when I ordered that this was too small for my size; couldn't find a larger one on line. Tried it and sure enough, 15 inches is not wide enough for an adult to stand with feet placed for balancing. Add old and chubby and you get "not working". As I said I knew this when I ordered, so I already planned a fix. We cut a 3/8 or 1/2 inch piece of plywood into a circle 20" diameter and then screwed it to the original board near the inner side. Now I have a balance board that is sized for me and it works great. All those who comment on it being dangerous due to slipping, need to remember that this is an unstable item (on purpose) and learn about physics before they try this device. For the older who want to maintain or improve their balance, I recommend this with the modification.

Had to get a balance board for a dance class assignment during quarantine. I chose this one because it was cheap and could get here in time. Fully expected it to be crap, but it works really well! I'm about 160 lbs and it bore my weight with no problem, even standing dead center for single-leg balancing. Even my dog had fun with it.

I wasnt sure what to expect. It is a bit smaller than I thought it would be but I am glad because it makes it easier to take with me. Its 14 inches across, you think, Wow that's a good size for what it is. Until I got my big feet on it, then it seemed a bit smallish. I have no balance and got this for rehabilitation purposes. Its still a little early for any definitive gains, however I'm hopeful. The board itself is made of a hard plastic that seems durable enough as long as it isn't abused. For the money, I got more than I was expecting so Im happy. Oh, the picture with the crocs on.....no I'm not wearing crocs when I'm using the board, that was strictly for taking a picture...sitting down. Do not try to wear crocs while balancing on this board. It will not end well.

This balance board does what it needs to, but the quality is a bit cheaper than expected. The raised bumps for traction are made of the same plastic, I had made the assumption they would be rubberized which would provide more traction. The board is still a bit slippery. I prefer to use the board without shoes and the raised bumps make it a bit uncomfortable. It is also a little smaller than expected. It is fourteen inches as the description says, but just seemed a bit small.Overall, for the price, this was a good purchase. It does what it is intended to do and can be used easily by kids as well.

I purchased this balance board, because balance-board exercises were recommended as therapy for the strained tendons that I developed in both legs from pushing my 72-year-old body much harder that I should have. I stand on the board for periods of time of about 15 minutes several times during an evening while watching the TV news, and in a few days I've learned to balance on it fairly well. What can I say about the board itself? It's sturdy and well constructed, and it does what it's supposed to do. It is also reasonably priced. The surface grips the soles of shoes, sandals, and flip flops securely. However, the same raised circles on the surface that do such a good job of providing traction for footwear make it very uncomfortable to use the balance board barefoot. A balance board is not a complicated product, and I'm sure there are other good ones on the market. For my purposes, this one works well.
