Great balance practice! It is a little difficult to use at first but you can do basic core work on it. Would recommend using over a mat as it can be slippery otherwise.

This thing is so cool. Not for your standing desk. You either need a full 360 degrees surrounded by pillows, or way more ankle strength than I have. Love it.

It's harder than it looks - good practice for foil board sports. Good quality build.

Office game changer! Let's talk price: At first I was like eeeek this thing is as expensive as my desk but when I got it, I understood why. Solid build, great materials, will last me a long time. Function: challenging to use but a lot of fun! It's not a board you get good at so fast, you loose the benefits. You see progress in your balance fast enough that you can still type and have online meetings without distraction. But not so fast you get bored of it (no pun intended hehe) and shove it to the side because the novelty wore out. The first day I got it, I was stood on it for 6hrs and didnt notice until the end of the day. Before that, I was standing for about 1-2hr a day. Worth the buy and longevity.

I used this to help with preparing for a snowboarding trip. We live in Florida so we only get to go once or twice a year and wanted an away to be able to practice. After using the board, I definitely felt more stable on my snowboard and got back into the swing of things a lot easier and took my riding abilities to the next level.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I heard some cracking while using so I’m a little concerned about it holding up.

Once I got my height adjustable desk, I knew I had to look into finding a balance board or mini treadmill. It’s very hard for me to stand still and focus. I tried a few options, and this was the best solution!Pros:- keeps me on my feet- works my muscles- improved my overall balance- improved my core strength- regular size is perfect for my small feet (US W size 5)Cons:- too narrow for people with bigger feet (get the wider version if your feet are bigger than mine)- can’t stand on it for long without shoes on- the ball underneath is super slippery on carpet, so you might need a traction mat or the little stand to help if your balance isn’t goodIt was an expensive purchase, but it’s been over a month since I’ve had it and I use it everyday. I even noticed my belly trimmed down just from working my core strength and balance on this thing. I’d get off the board after work and feel like I’d just worked out my abs and legs. Talk about multitasking!Very pleased with this product. A+ from a WFH employee.

Shipped to Canada (Toronto) very quickly, very happy with that. I’m trying to gain some balance strength and prep for the snow season. While this company do offer a standing desk balance board I chose this one and use it while at my home desk. I’m an amateur on the longboard and intermediate snowboarder, wanted something to get better balance and control. This is a great product, very well made and love the company, check their videos!

This board has a surprising amount of utility for practicing skateboarding beyond the immediately obvious options. Some examples:-You can literally practice the scoop & catch for a 360 flip with this board by leaning it slightly toeside & scooping the tail.-Aside from improving general balance, it's not actually that helpful for manuals versus a real skateboard, but doing body varials on it without the board ends touching the ground is great dynamic balance practice, akin to 180 jumps on a balance beam or a rail. The balance is similar to doing tricks into manuals too.-Setting up your feet up in nollie position & trying to balance also helps you train yourself to be comfy with keeping your weight in the "back seat" for tricks.-Doing 180s by pushing off the back end of the board onto the front end gives a good sense of shifting your weight properly for actual fs/bs 180s on a skateboard. You can practice reverts in a similar way (back to front to back end weight shift with your front foot near the nose).-Likewise, you practice the "late shifty" motion needed for bs noseblunts this way, all without having to actually pop the board. All that said, it feels like something that should be indispensable for beginner & intermediate skateboarders. Getting used to balancing on this would likely get you comfy with things like moving ollies & the aforementioned uses are great for a lot of bread-&-butter motions for skateboarding.Speaking from my own experience, it's certainly helped me stay sharp on days where I can't skate due to rain or other reasons. I feel like it's more helpful than carpet boarding, even. Sure, you can just see how long you can balance on it & do the occasional shuv, but things really open up when you get a bit more creative.

Works well while being used at a stand-up desk. If you need more stability, you can place it on an anti-fatigue mat while you develop better balance.

This past year, I have started to become interested in working on my balance as I had weak ankles and tight hips which resulted in nasty injuries during trail races. I'm starting to become a big believer than all homes should have wobble boards as they take up very little space and even hopping on one a couple times a day for short periods can strengthen your balance, muscles, and joints. I have not fallen at all since I've been using mine for a year. But I digress...I also have always wanted to learn to skateboard so here I am in my mid-40s trying new things. I had a $20 Yes4All wobble board I love to play with, but I mastered it and needed something more challenging. This seemed like a good step between the wobble and the a Bongo board (which requires balancing in very different ways), and it seems like it could be used for much more. I can't wait to look at some YouTube videos for ideas for tricks and exercises to use with it. It looks so fun!For just balancing alone, I found it a bit more challenging than my Yes4All, but it not impossible to balance on—especially if you have used a balance or wobble board before. After trying it for a few minutes, I was able to stay up for about a minute. It's going to take me a little time to build up to where I was on my wobble board.I found Whirly put more pressure on my hip and thigh muscles to balance on as my legs are much wider apart than on a regular wobble board. This is not at all a bad thing, but it may a bit difficult for someone who has never used a balance or skateboard to get started on this. However, I totally disagree with the review that called it dangerous. Sure it can be dangerous (all balance boards can be), but if you take it slow and/or use a chair or other solid piece of furniture to hold onto when you start out it is not any more dangerous than a regular wobble board. The key is not to rush it, and let it tip to the ground to hop off if it is overwhelming.I can't wait to learn more with this cool board! This is a beautifully-made piece of equipment that I'm very happy to have invested in for myself and the rest of my family.
