The install was straight forward and the red light comes on to show its powered. It's hard to tell if it really enhances my radio signal though. Some stations seem better with in connected and some seem better without it. Don't necessarily feel like it's worth the price

I needed something to boost my radio signals as I changed my antenna on my truck. This amplifier works on both AM and FM signals. I had gotten a booster that just did FM and could not get my AM to work so I returned it. This one was great! Works like a charm.
