Your cart is empty.The K6ARK Portable Radio QRP (5W max for high-duty cycle, 10W max SSB) matching unit design is one of the most compact and light-weight options for a portable HF antenna. This kit improves the original design, making the build easier. This kit provides the components necessary to build one matching unit. Just add antenna wire of your choice to build an End-fed Half Wave, End Fed Random Wire, or a 1:1 Balun feed point for a dipole antenna. Tools/consumables required include a soldering iron, solder, tweezers, and a heat gun (preferred) or a lighter to shrink the heat-shrink tubing. Note that this kit contains small parts that may be difficult for some individuals to assemble, but the end result is well worth it. These kits are produced by me, K6ARK, and I welcome questions, and am eager to help you succeed in your build project. Have fun with your build!

This is the most compact antenna matching transformer ever. I built this as a 9:1 Unun with the male BNC for my Elecraft KH-1. The instructions supplied on the seller's website are fantastic, with step-by-step instructions and pictures. This was an easy build, and in less than an hour, I had a working 9:1 Unun. The Unun is small enough to fit in one of the pockets on the KH-1 carry case. I added female banana plug connectors to mine, and I can easily switch out radiators and counterpoises. I am THRILLED with the purchase and the results.

You won't find a smaller and lighter EFHW implementation. This is great for tossing in a pack for POTA activations. Very slick.

Love it! We've built two of these. This is our current go to antenna, and we have lots to choose from. The convenience of no coax cable and ability to quickly put it up and take it down is awesome. We've had surprisingly good luck with it. We pit a pigtail on for a counterpose someday but never actualy connected one.73 Mike N4FFF es Becky N4BKY
