Ok, I am embarrassed to say that I didn’t even know you could retrofit older cars. Our son just got our 2006 Honda Civic and immediately started talking about replacing the radio. I got to looking was amazed that these existed. Out of the box it looks like a LOT of wires and instructions (my husband just said ‘oh boy’ as he is reading the instructions). What I can say right now is that it is a perfect match to the existing interior and the screen itself is heavy (i.e., seems solid). I will update the review once we get it installed with how easy that part of the process was and (most importantly!) how it works, but so far, very excited!6-7-25 Update: Installation (except for back-up camera) happened today. It took my son about 3 hours using the enclosed plastic pry-tool and a flat-head screwdriver. The instructions were not good (removing 1 star) but he watched an online video and took it from there. We ordered t-tap wire connectors for the back-up camera because they were not included, so h will install that once the t-taps get delivered. Again, so very pleased- my son was SUPER excited.

This car stereo is an absolute game-changer for my 2006 Civic. The 10-inch touchscreen is massive and incredibly responsive, making navigation and controlling features a breeze. The built-in GPS is accurate and easy to use, and having both wired and wireless CarPlay/Android Auto options is incredibly convenient. The 5G WiFi is a fantastic addition, allowing for seamless streaming and a faster overall experience. The sound quality is significantly improved, and the installation process was surprisingly straightforward. This stereo has breathed new life into my older Civic, and I couldn't be happier with the upgrade.

I had to do a youtube video to get this installed but it fit my 07 hybrid pretty easily once I got it all figured out. I did need better tools and I used upgraded wiring but all in all the pricing and the features were great. It took my outdated daily into the 21st century.
