Positive:-Very nice-looking. You wouldn’t even know it wasn’t part of the original vehicle.-Powerful amp. HUGE improvement to sound quality vs. the OEM stereo deck, with the same OEM speakers.-The backup camera added great functionality to my kid’s car. Safer for her to back up.-Quickly add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your vehicle, which is VERY handy.-If you email them, they are very responsive and fairly helpful.Negative:-The instructions suuuuuuuuuuuuuck. The video is only somewhat helpful. There are a variety of models with different wiring configurations, but they don’t have clear instructions for each confirmation so you just have to just kind of bumble around with a lot of guesswork.-Complicated. This is basically an android tablet with a custom GUI overlay. There is a ton of functionality, but NO manual for how to use it. For the uninitiated, the instructions will *probably* be enough to get it functioning as a radio and get you Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. But don’t expect help figuring out the backup camera or the GPS, or as a feed to monitors in back for movies for the kids (yeah, it could do that if you can figure it out!). You also get no help with any of the software, which brings me to my next point.-Software has too much functionality. It’s basically like having a tablet mounted to your dash. It’s powerful, sure, but it’s complicated, requiring too many screen presses to accomplish basic tasks. You shouldn’t have to click around to turn down the volume or switch between navigation and changing music tracks, which brings me to my next point…-This doesn’t feel safe. I feel nervous anbout having added it to my kid’s car. I like that she will have Apple CarPlay for hands-free calling, navigation, and music without having to pick up her phone. However, they desperately need to add a physical volume knob, a mute button, and a power button, to help a driver quickly eliminate distractions without looking at the screen. If your kid doesn’t make great decisions, there are too many tempting gadgets to pull their attention off the road. They could even pull up a movie or video chat.Future Functionality?Maybe at some point they can update the Firmware to add some other critical functions (but I won’t hold my breath). I’d say this needs:1. the ability to adjust volume from EVERY screen, at a minimum, preferably with a mute button, too.2. For the user to be able to add quick-access shortcuts to the main screen.3. Perhaps most importantly, for the user to be able to remove apps/functionality to the main screen. There should be almost nothing visible except the base functionality that you use all the time. You should be able to eliminate all the visual noise.Bottom line: Excellent feature set, but overall difficult to install and cumbersome to operate, compromising safety. I would buy again, but only because there aren’t a ton of options in this space at this price point and I really wanted Apple CarPlay for hands-free calling and navigation. If I could find a version with a physical volume knob, I would buy that over this, hands-down.
Doesnt work.

Plugged everything in, started the car to check and make sure. Worked for about 15 seconds, bluetooth worked great for that 15 seconds. Shut off after that and never worked again. Dont buy it.

My car is 2014 ford focus and it’s on the tail end of its life and my radio finally died, as ford focus radios are known to do. Knowing that I am going to try to buy a new vehicle in the next 2 years I didn’t want to spend a TON of money on a radio, but wanted something to kinda hold me over until then. Based on the reviews I went with this one and honestly I couldn’t be happier! I have had it a few weeks at this point and it’s great.I know literally nothing about car radios, but watched 5 or 6 YouTube videos of people installing one of these or a similar model and read through a lot of the paperwork that came with the radio I was able to get it all installed and operating in less than an hour. Again, I am a female in my 20’s that knows little to nothing about cars so if I can do it, you can probably do it too.Things to note, I was not interested in the backup cam or gps features of the radio so I didn’t install those. Installation would definitely have been tricker if you wanted to install those items. I just wanted something to not have silent car rides.I also did have issues, like other reviews mentioned with getting my steering wheel button to work with the new radio but I simply emailed the customer service email on the paperwork that came in the radio and they were literally so helpful and responsive and provided the perfect solution that fixed everything within a few emails! Can’t say enough good things about the customer service with this product. If you’re looking for the best state of the art radio of all time, this probably isn’t for you and you should look in a higher price bracket, but if you’re just looking for a little upgrade to make you ford focus a little bit more enjoyable to drive around, for this price you can’t beat this product.

I love it! It completely modernize my car for around $200. I haven't hooked up the backup camera yet but I will do that soon. I'll have a couple small issues one is that the wireless connection to Android auto is pretty slow or non-existent at times. Although I just plugged my phone into the USB port and it's instant connection. Call Quality is not great the people on the other end say that they have a hard time understanding what I'm saying. It came with an external microphone that I have to try, hopefully it's better with that. Installation was fairly easy. I'll update my review later on, but so far so good.

The product looks good, the sound really surprises with the power it has, and the possible configurations it offers, the installation is simple as described, you just have to remove the original radio and connect, there is no way to go wrong since each connector has a size and can only be connected to one of the above radio connectors. In my case the SWCs did not work, I contacted technical support and the response was quick, the equipment only needed an update which they sent me. and that solved the problem. The only thing that made me not give it 5 stars is the operation of the GPS, it takes a while to connect and sometimes it loses the signal momentarily, if like me you want to stop connecting the cell phone to the screen to navigate, it I would rate it as 7.5/10. If you don't mind continuing to use your cell phone and project on the screen, it is a good option. I would recommend it as an alternative to updating the vehicle radio!!!! P.S. I installed it in a Focus 2013 SE
