How to choose the width of mtb 31.8 downhill bike handlebars?
The width of mountain handlebar does not really correlate to the size of the wheels but depending on your riding style and the type of terrain you typically ride: If riding narrow singletrack trails lined with trees, you can choose a tad narrower to save knuckles. But if go wider, your input on the bars becomes more powerful and sensitive. So, wide bars on a heavy, fast-moving bike like an enduro bike makes sense. Generally speaking, cross-country riders prefer short handlebars, enduro riders and downhill riders like much wider handlebars.

Backsweep 9° Flat Bar notes of installation:
1. When installing RXL SL carbon fiber mtb handlebars ,please do make sure the diameter of stem must be the same as that of our 31.8mm handlebar.
2. Follow the specified tightening torque (4Nm), Max Torque Clamping to Bar:5Nm, Torque specs for all bolts is 3-5 Nm.
3. Please use torque wrench to install, Normal installation will have a slight dent in the locking position, this is normal and does not affect the strength(Over torque may lead to rupture damage, can not be used normally, with the non-slip agent normal 3.5Nm can be locked, the role of the non-slip agent is not necessary to overlock can be safely fastened)
4. You can put carbon fiber assembly paste on 31.8 bars to ensure a tight fit with little chance of slipping and torque to 5nm equally in a cross pattern, be careful not to overtighten your fittings.
