I ordered this WOK in December 2024. Unfortanately I didn't use it until yesterday, March 11, 2025. I put it in the dishwasher and when I got it out the underside had rust spots on it and the ENTIRE INSIDE was rusted!!! I would love to be able to return it but I think its too late. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. It's junk!

This is your typical round bottom carbon steel wok ... when I received it, I washed it thoroughly and then heated it up & seasoned it with oil (check youtube)... that will eliminate the rust issue. After every use, I do a quick wash & reseason it with oil before putting away .. same as I've done with all my other woks . Works great & the price was excellent.

All these negative reviews about rust amazes me. Wok need a proper treatment before ready to use. There are plenty of YouTube videos about how to seasoning the wok. This wok is affordable and the size was perfect 2 people. Great buy!

This wok is not flat bottom. It will not sit flat on an electric range. Contrary to seller statementa wok ring is needed.

Very good quality wok. A bit big size for 2 people. Need to season. Very affordable price compare to other brands.People who writing bad reviews about rust, should learn how properly to season this product.

Most woks these days have a flattened bottom, or have supposed "non stick" coatings that just come off and get into your food. This one is the real deal.As for complaints that carbon steel gets rusty - mine arrived in perfect condition. Of course, the first thing I did was to clean it with soap and water, dry it and season it with a thin coat of fat and heat, just like any other iron pan.Don't listen to those who don't know how to use a carbon steel pan!
