When considering a desktop aquarium, opting for one medium fish or two small ones can be a charming addition to your workspace. However, it is essential to manage expectations regarding this compact setup. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.The aquarium comes with all the necessary components to establish a very small habitat. It is crucial, however, to avoid placing a goldfish in it, as they are notably messy. This would necessitate cleaning the tank twice a week, which can become quite the chore. Additionally, certain parts, like the water pump, pose a challenge when it comes to maintenance.Despite these drawbacks, the aquarium remains a pleasing piece for your desk. For those seeking a more serious and sustainable aquarium experience, it is advisable to invest in a more robust and higher-quality item.

My fish kept getting her fins sucked up into filter and they were shredded. Now we don’t use the filter so it is useless for what I bought it for.

I really like this fish tank. It is small. I’m not sure about putting a fish in there, because the smaller the tank the more you have to clean it. It’s pretty quiet sometimes the sand goes into the filter Even though there is a sponge there. It’s bright but not to powerful. Wish there was a timer. As far as value for the money it might be a bit expensive for a 1 gallon tank. 4 stars only because I don’t think you could put a fish in there, maybe if you clean it often

This tank killed my Betta fish. Nothing tranquil and relaxing about that!

While betta fish thrives best in a 5 gallon tank, we've decided to get this smaller one, fully aware that it will require frequent water changes and all, which we're used to doing with our older slim tank. This tank is a good size and it's sturdy enough to withstand my little ones approaching it. The ambient sound is very soothing, and it's easy to set up and operates well.

As much as I love fish tanks with sumps, I also love fish tanks with the filtration system built in making this tank the perfect tank to gift someone who might want their first fish but they lack the knowledge of setting up an aquarium when they find too many parts as part of the setup. Everything you need is included. Setup is extremely quick and easy! The size is perfect for small spaces or offices. Perfect for nano fish or shrimp. The price is perfect because you have the tank & filter built in. The suction of the filter is strong enough to keep the water clear.
