The construction is done very well. Good quality. The only problem I have is the cord that they give you to pass through the little hole in the roof to hang it, is an impossibility. I have tried everything to be able to push the cord through the hole and can’t do it. So you will have to widen that hole if you want to use it that way. Otherwise there is a small hook on the back that you can attach to a nail or fishhook nail. It does catch the bugs though. So it does what it’s supposed to do. But it’s easier for me if I can hang them on a hook by the included cord, for my patio.

Definitely works as I have caught over 10 bees in each trap every 3 days twice and has reduced the large number flying around

First time using this brand of carpenter bee catcher. BUT I’ve only caught honey bees!! Holes must be too small for carpenter bees! My other traps have always worked fine. These are cute little houses but don’t work for me and I surely don’t want to catch needed honey bees!!!

This little house looks adorable and seems sturdy, but so far, it hasn't trapped any carpenter bees. However, carpenter bees are trying to set up shop in my deck (by drilling holes) right beside the little trap.I'm sad that it didn't work, because it really is cute.
