This step will give the user easier access to the vehicle due to the wider and deeper stepping surface which extends further than our other steps. The LD step is available in our three durable finishes, and installation is a cinch with our mounting system.

….nor do they mount flush to the pinch weld, which is curved on a 2016 Ram 1500. But, they are a SOLID step, if you have the mechanical aptitude to address the matters above.I grabbed the pinch weld where I put the marks for the outer edges of the brackets with a set of channel locks and flattened the curvature of the seam out before drilling, so as to get completely flush contact at the mating surfaces; I also had to slightly tweak the “wing bracket” (for lack of a better way to put it…you’ll see what I mean) to get a flat connection up on the rocker. After getting the bracket mounted solidly and attaching the step itself, I found that the minor change in geometry shifted the step up and slightly out of level, but easy fix there: 2 2x4 blocks and a rock bar and some very gentle tweaking brought everything around square.I’m 6’1”, 185; There is no flexion, no sense of sponginess when you step onto these things…the cab rocks with your weight rather than having the brackets obviously twisting in the rocker panel like happens with nerf bars.I’d give this part 5 stars if it weren’t for all the extra work involved in attaching them truly solidly…4 will have to do.

I ordered this product less than 24 hours ago. Ordered it yesterday and it arrived today at 11:38am - I always read reviews and generally do not post them (sorry) but on Amazon the part ID said it did not fit my 2020 2500 but on Carr.com it did. So the clarification was nice and allowed me to go with the common sense that it was Carr store on Amazon and the same part number. The Q & A one answer said one step - yes - pair - yes so I carefully read over that as well. I did contact Carr directly to support the "Smaller than Amazon Business " but they could only match the price and without Prime I would never had gotten it from Washington State to PA - They are beautiful and just as described. Well see how they hold up over winter but anticipate will be very happy.

Works for a 2020 Ram 2500 Regular Cab 6.4L Hemi. Amazon's fitment guide is wrong.Very sturdy. Fit is great. Quality is great. Ease of installment is relatively simple. Definitely recommended.Be careful with the hardware. No inventory is provided, and they clearly put everything needed for many makes/models in the package, so I had many bolts/nuts/washers left over(see attached picture of the extras). I clearly installed the wrong part somewhere, because on the last step I needed washers, but didn't have any that fit the bolts I had. Glad to have some spares in the tool chest, albeit the wrong size, but made it all worked.

Solid as can be....and I'm a big guy. Worked great on my tall truck and I don't have to worry about them rusting.

I received these door steps right on time. They are sturdy and solid, and very well made (USA made)I'll update later with a photo of these actually on my truck. The most important information I must pass on to anyone interested in purchasing these door steps is that amazon states that these door steps would NOT fit my truck, when in fact, after visiting the Carr website, they most certainly will!(FYI) I own a 2019 RAM 1500 Classic Quad cabAgain, FYI, the Amazon site is offering these door steps for a lot less than Carr.com!Just be sure to double check the Carr website just in case Amazon says these door steps will not fit your truck

Well made I must say but for my 2016 Ram 3500 Cummins chassis cab (the fitment suggests it fits perfectly) the DEF tank brackets and tank are totally in the way of the driver side rearmost mount for the step, and, even if it cleared there is no way to drill the top mount hole even with my low profile air angle drill. Maybe a non-chassis cab has the tank in a different location. Passenger side is no problem. Some day I'll drain and drop the DEF tank and rework the tank mount and move this step far forward of the seat center to make it somewhat useable. I don't recommend this step if you have a 2016 Ram 3500 Cummins chassis cab if you expect a simple drill then bolt on installation as seen in their videos.
