Hoping this works out I’ve been through way too many wands. Time will tell though. The only reason why I didn’t give it five stars at this point is it was a little difficult wiring it in and programming but that also could be because I’m an old fart.. I ended up putting it in the middle of the driveway. I bought a 4 1/2 inch hole saw that attaches to a grinder that I found on Amazon it was inexpensive enough and made that process easy and looks great. and so far it works great.

this is a perfect and easy replacement for any probe on private roads or drive ways that get graded often. Can mount on a small post to the side of rode way and it still works perfectly

Great unit but I had to salvage the cables from the wired version (which was the biggest issue from it). 5 stars otherwise

An asphalt crew paving our driveway nicked the exit loop sensor during grading, so I decided to give the CW-SYS a shot instead. Huge improvement! This thing works great, and I can have it farther from the gate, so I do less waiting for the gate to finish opening - it's open when I get there. No trenching was a big plus too.Everything worked flawlessly out of the box - connected four wires from the integrator to the gate control board, put the batteries in the puck sensor, and that was it.I was a bit lost about the wiring at first, but I emailed a Cartell ( info@cartell.com ) and they got back to me less than 24 hours later with a wiring diagram for my particular gate controller board. Awesome customer service!My only gripe (pretty minor) is that it didn't come with any wires to actually connect the integrator to the control board. I had to scavenge some leftover wires from another project. Seems like it would be very low cost for Cartell to include a few wires...

After lightning destroyed my wired buried gate exit wand I started looking for a wireless replacement. I found the CW-SYS wireless on Amazon. It appeared to be exactly what I was looking for. After receiving the unit I had a few technical questions about the best sensor location for my specific situation. I called tech support, and to my surprise my call was answered on the second ring!. The tech advisor answered all my questions. The installation proceeded flawlessly, and the unit is working perfectly. All was done is about 30 minutes. The unit comes with a 5 year warranty which I find very comforting. So far very happy with my decision.

This is the second one of these I have put in. I love that there is no wire to bury and run up to the gate. No wire to get zapped by lightning and short the gate motherboard out! I have these about 150' from the gate and they work flawlessly. Instructions are very clear and easy to understand. On my first one, the batteries lasted just over 2 years before I had to replace them. We use the gate 3-5 times a day most days of the year. Highly recommend this product.

It’s pricey, but the ease of install is worth it! Took 15mins to setup. I installed into driveway and so far zero issues. Love it, way better than wired wands from other manufacturers!

My electric gate quit and the wand I had wouldn’t work with my new gate so I purchased this wireless wand and it’s great. It was easy to hook up and bury in the ground. My old wand was connected so it had to be buried all the way. This one was a little bigger than a softball and I could put it further from my gate where it will be open when I get up to my gate. It works well and the options to place it where I want are so much better.
