I was surprised by this item, I have a door that I built out of all mild steel that's roughly 600 lbs. It opens and closes the door without issue each time. The proper gate opener for the heavy duty stuff. Being off the grid I have it running on a separate solar and battery bank array and that also was quite easy to accomplish.Another highlight and it has app control that allows you to use your phone in order to control the door. I'm not sure how well that works as I have mine on a dedicated remote control, but it is good to have options.Overall it's a great choice as it allows for multiple ways to be installed and used and that's what a great product is.Until We Meet Again-Off The Grid Ken

I just put in a new 12 foot gate to my back yard. I hated having to get out and open the gate to drive through and then get out to close it again. This opener is heavy duty enough to handle the larger gate and the remotes ;et you open and close it as you drive up and away. I did add a wheel to the end of the gate for extra support and between the opener and the wheel it operates so smoothly. I have gotten a ton of compliments about the setup on how slick it works.

This gate opener has a 24V DC motor, but can be operated on AC power because it includes a power supply. The nice thing about this is that the gate can be converted to solar power at any time. TMT sells a solar kit for this gate, or you can DIY one using a 24V battery or two 12V batteries in series. The solar option not only saves you from having to run AC power to the location, but it will work even when the grid is down, where an AC only gate would not. Many other openers are only AC or DC, not both, like this one. This is the best of both worlds and much more versatile.Motor is powerful, can swing a large farm gate no problem. Could probably handle a heavy treated wood gate as well.

This Single Automatic Gate Opener is a great device. It is convenient being able to use an app to control it. The app connects to the opener either Wifi or Bluetooth. The app is simple to use once it is connected. It has a strong motor and is smooth in its opening. The installation is not too difficult; however, it does take a little time to set up. Overall, a good gate opener.

Electric automatic gate opener. The motor is quite and is pretty strong. I have a large all steel gate and its able to open and close it. It comes with aluminum mounting hardware and brackets. I think a thick might make it feel a bit more sturdier than it already is. Longer usage is needed to see how long it can operate for.
