This is a very well-designed case! It looks like HOSOCASE have thought of everything and unlike a lot of other cases there is plenty of room for accessories. The one thing that has always frustrated me about most tool hard cases that you get with the tool, is that there is just enough room for the tool and that's it, nothing else. Not so, with this case. It's very deep and actually has 2 different levels of padding that can be removed or added depending. For example, the saw blades that you see are on the 'middle' level of padding, there is another level beneath that, in that same cutout, that can be removed if you need more space. I was also able to add padding back on top of the blades so there is padding between the saw and the blades. The foam padding is very dense and perfectly cut to fit the saw, batteries and charger firmly with no slop. And still allows the lid to close and hold the tools tightly. Very, very impressed with this case. I will be ordering HOSOCASE cases for my other DeWalt tools! I highly recommend these cases!

I don't understand why the major tool companies couldn't care to sell a case for their tools - but here is your answer. Rugged with storage for blades , batteries, charger - Good. The Hinge appears strong and should pass the test of time. The latch has a trigger release which appears Stout and well made, This also is the usual area of failure on MOST cases. This looks like it should last - its way way better then the old flexible type which always failed. Also it is two colors so that it will look different and therefore identifiable when mixed in with all the other (black) cases in the back of the truck. The only thing missing is, it should say in the plastic on the outside of the case what it is, for example reciprocating saw, so that when I send a helper out to get something he can find it right away.

This is an excellent case for anyone with Dewalt tools. It fits my Dewalt Atomic 20V Max Reciprocating Saw and other accessories like batteries and chargers perfectly. The foam interior is custom-made, and it offers good protection against impacts. Whether you're a contractor or a DIYer, this is a reliable option to keep your gear in great condition.

I've had a few tool cases over the years, but this one really stands out. The PP material is tough and seems to withstand some serious pressure. I love that the case is IP67 waterproof and dustproof — it's been great for outdoor work. The Dewalt reciprocating saw case keeps my tools safe, organized, and dry even in the harshest environments.

The description says this case will fit a DCS382. It will not fit a 382 as the 382 is too long for the case.

This is a nice, solid protective case that should hold up to heavy use. Unfortunately, mine arrived with a bit of the plastic lip around the edge broken off. It doesn't affect the function and the piece that broke is more cosmetic than anything, but it does give me a bit of concern about its long term durability.

My Reciprocating saw takes a lot of abuse, so I thought a nice case might make it feel a little more loved.=== The Good Stuff ===* The case is solid. I didn't try parking a car on it like in the description, but it seems like it would probably stand up to that.* The padding cutouts fit the saw perfectly. I didn't worry about the battery/charger cutouts since I don't carry them in the same case as the saw anyway. There was ample room to store all the blades I normally carry, although it took some surgery to store the long tree-trimming blades that I carry.* Everything fit snug, and closing the lid was drama free. The latch was simple to use, and the lid stays open.=== The Not-So-Good Stuff ===* Previously, my saw lived in a cheap plastic toolbox. To be honest, I am more worried about having the tool and all the assorted blades and accessories in one place than I am about the padding around the tool. A reciprocating saw is built pretty tough, and it really isn't all that expensive of a tool.* Getting the blade I wanted was a fit fussy. In the old toolbox scenario, they are all visible and easily accessible in the top tray.* If your tool gets dirty (mud, sawdust, drywall dust...) either plan on wiping it down before storage, or learn to live with the foam getting dirty. It can be a bit tough to clean out.=== Summary ===This is a great toolbox, sturdy and well made. The tool fits precisely in the foam insert, and I am sure it provide great protection even if the whole box gets slammed around in a truck. However my tools live a different life- they take their chances in a plain plastic box, and I much prefer to be able to see and easily grab any blade that I own. But if this is the way you want to carry your tools, this is a very good choice.
