STEP1
Install one AA battery into the battery compartment.
STEP2
After installing the batteries toggle the switch slide and the cover will open under electric power.
STEP3
Place the HVC tape in when the cover is fully open.
STEP4
Finally, put the VHC tape adapter into the media player to play the contents of the tape.
This product comes with a gray lens cleaning cloth, a light green lens cleaning cloth and a light green lens cleaning cloth.
A grey lens cleaning cloth and a blue lens cleaning cloth will be included in each box when you purchase this product.

This cassette adapter is exactly what I needed. I have a pretty big collection of home movies- two formats, but most of them are on VHS-C cassettes. I had lost the adapter I had in a move awhile back so went looking and this one is actually a bit better than the one I had to begin with, so it was perfect.It’s pretty easy to use. It does take a battery, so be aware of that. Once you pop the VHS-C into it, it’s ready to use.Fortunately, I didn’t notice any loss translating from the smaller to larger cassette. So while I definitely need another adapter for the other cassettes, this one is going to keep us busy for a bit!

This is a good low-cost way to be able to play those small SVHC tapes in a full-sized VCR. Operation is fast and easy. If you know how to use a standard vhs then you know how to use this!

If you have some VHS-C cassettes that you need to view in a standard VHS player, this is what you need. The one that came with my camera years ago went bad. This is a great replacement and works as needed. Like others said, the first thing you do is put in a battery, then open the cassette door with the small sliding switch. This unit has a motor that opens the door. Then you put in the VHS-C and close the door manually. Then the motor pulls tape from the cassette to the proper location for putting into a VHS player. PUT THE BATTERY IN AS SOON AS YOU GET IT. Then slide the switch. One AA battery required.

Had some VHS-C tapes laying around that haven't been viewed in ages. Was curious to see what was on them and my previous adapter went kaput. This one worked flawlessly. I have been searching high and low for an adaptor to watch my childhood home videos since the old trusty cam corder was lost in my parents divorce. I haven’t had the chance to test it out but I will be doing so this weekend and I’ll update if there are any issues.
