We have a few very spoiled ducks, one is my brother's sidekick. We've been talking about getting a pack to take her on walks so I was very excited to try this. She...wasn't as excited. The piece that makes the bottom stiff isn't very soft so she was very nervous at first. I added a folded towel to the bottom which gave her more traction and kept her from slipping around. This definitely helped calm her down.I like that it's all mesh even though with a duck, it will definitely get pooped on. It looks like it should be easy enough to clean though and I don't have to worry about her overheating.

Update: No good at all. After inspecting the backpack further, I found several spots that the stitching was loose and almost falling apart!_______I decided to try this pet backpack because I was looking for one a couple inches smaller than the others of the same basic style I already have. This one is a couple inches smaller, but also lightweight materials, thinner mesh, non-locking zippers, and a more flexible design that doesn't support my large cat nearly as well. The price is a little lower, but not by as much as the lower quality would suggest.Due to the thinner mesh and non-locking zippers alone, I would only suggest this one if your cat is calm and very used to traveling. Also, I would suggest a better version unless you really need a slightly smaller, more flexible pack to fit under airline seats, etc. This is the reason I needed this pack, and I definitely think it will work for flights easier than my stronger backpack. So I can say there might be a reason for it.As with all these style pet backpacks, it folds very flat, and is easy to store when not in use.

I love that this is totally collapsible to be stored easily, and I appreciate that it has a couple of pockets. My only qualm about this is that I wish the base of it was sturdier, other than that this is pretty good bang for your buck as far as cat backpacks go!

Not satisfied with the quality of this backpack. I ordered one from a different brand for $20 which also happened to be expandable and loved it. When that one was out of stock and I needed to purchase another one for my other pet I figured this one would be the same minus the expansion part... Wrong!!! It's a lower quality , pretty weak even for my 8lb cat and had a terrible plastic odor

Adorable! When we first opened, it I was concerned it was too small. Our kitten fit perfect and we put our 10 lb cat in there and she fit great! Highly recommend this cat carrier. Perfect to fit cat and additional needs in side pockets, and go on an adventure!
