Got my cat spayed, and the plastic cone the vet provided didn't allow her to easily eat. This one is softer, but still very firm. I like that the part away from the velcro can be folded down to allow her to reach the food. For some reason I was expecting this to be a bit softer/flexible so that it wouldn't be so awkward for her to just walk around bumping into things, but it does what it's intended to do.

Got an extra small and it was too small. It had no room for my cat to move as it was right on his face. Went with a completely different item. Size up if you try this

It was a little small but that was my fault for choosing the wrong size. However the drawstring for adjusting the fit is an issue for my drama cat. He was already not thrilled about the collar but the hanging string and plastic nub was too much for him to handle. The collar is very soft so it would probably be comfortable. Just didn't work out for me,

Much more comfortable for her, and not breakable. She wore the plastic one from the vet for one night only before she broke it into 4 pieces. This one is much easier to put on, and much more comfortable for her. Thank you!
