The product is of great quality and my cats love it a lot. They enjoy napping, grooming and playing in it although they don’t play rough with it. It isn’t large enough for both of my cats to fit at the one time, but that could be a plus if one cat wanted to get away from the other.The provided anchors when installed were loose and I would not have trusted my cats to jump or step onto it. I replaced them with a set of 52lbs each screw in anchors which held for about two weeks before the top one ripped out of the wall. I suppose they could not handle the sudden shock and tugging from the cats running or jumping onto the post. I have since replaced them with toggle bolt anchors rated for 75 lbs each which seems pretty sturdy but then again so did the screw in ones so time will tell. This is an issue only affecting a single post, as 2/4 posts are secured in studs and are solidly attached to the wall with no signs of failing. The remaining stud is also secured by the 52lbs screw in anchors, but because its weight is distributed between itself and a post secured by a stud by the hammock, the anchors have currently survived and still seem solidly attached to the wall.Three stars but it would solidly be a 5 if not for the inconvenience and additional expense of having to purchase two different sets of anchors besides the ones provided, which isn’t even guaranteed to last with some time. The only guaranteed way so far to secure the failing post is to cut a hole in the wall and place a piece of board behind the drywall which you then screw in the post, replace the hole you cut, sand, and paint the wall. This is not a renter friendly option so I cannot do this, and if my current setup with the toggle bolt anchors doesn’t work then I do not believe I will be able to use the product. Still good quality though.
