I ordered this cat food through the Amazon Vine program to see if my cat would like it.Disclaimer: I have been invited by Amazon to take part in the Amazon Vine program & I take that very seriously.I order products I am interested in, try them out and give my honest review on that product.I am not paid in any way by Amazon or the sellers for my reviews.Since I am an Amazon customer as well, I provide as much detail as possible for other customers in order to help make an informed decision on the products. I do not recommend products I myself wouldn't use.To my surprise, he does like it.My cat is 10 years old & starting to slow down a little.I want to start feeding him food geared more towards his health. Yeah, that probably doesn't sound right.I just mean rather than getting food for a shiny coat, indoor, weight control, etc, I would get one geared more towards an aging cat. He's not a picky eater and will eat most, (not all but most) food I put out for him.He has access to food 24/7. His bowl is always filled.I put a little bowl of this food out for him and he ate every piece of kibble. Needless to say, he likes it.This food was made in Canada and Thailand. I'm not sure how I feel about that but then again, I really don't read where the cat food I feed my guy comes from.Canada has the same standards we do. I'm not sure about Thailand. The kibble is very small and although I see the freeze dried pieces, there isn't a lot.Whatever they are doing though, my cat loves it.I would continue to buy it going forward, however, it's pricey. I'll have to comparison shop. For now, my cat loves it so that's good.Given how much he loves it, I would say it's a hit and therefore, I recommend.

We try to give out cat Freeze-Dried Raw cat food often because the vet said at her age (11) she needs to get more protein in her, but we have had problems finding one she will like on a consistent basis. I really like the quality of this food. It has a high crude protein content, deboned chicken is the first ingredient which is very important, it's minimally processed, it has a a lot of quality ingredients like probiotics & Omega-3 fatty acids and it does not have all the bad ingredients like corn, wheat, soy, gluten, animal by-product meals and artificial colors & flavors.I love this type of bag closure it has too. It is not a regular zip close and seals way better than a standard zip bag which keeps the food fresh longer. My cat seemed to love it and dove right into the bowl as you can see in the pictures. She even came back for more later. But after a day, she stopped eating it and refused to eat any more. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, because she no longer wanted the food and preferred her regular kibble over this one.I wish she did like it, because I would feel confident serving this to her. It is a quality product.

I am super happy with this cat food. I have never tried it before and my 13 year old cat is not enjoying any of the food I give her anymore. Not even the wet food she used to love to eat. But there isn't anything wrong with her other than pickiness in her old age. I received this and the cat food is in a nice bag with a picture of a cat and "Catit" beneath it. But there was something to my surprise when I opened the bag. I have never seen in a cat food bag before. There is a thin Velcro strip on the inner side that you can use to close it with. Super simple! I used to have to roll the bag up which isn't easy because they are so thick and put a big clip on it and even then, it doesn't stay fresh. And I would have to try and roll it up tight every time I fed her. I don't have to mess with that anymore. The food itself is a chicken flavor. There isn't much of a smell. This bag says it is for weight control. I didn't really need that because my cat isn't over weight. But there is freeze dried pieces in it that I really wanted to try with her. Not sure what it is made out of though. They call it "raw infused kibble". It is supposed to have 88% of protein in it.So, the big test came. And like I do with all the new cat foods I get I give her a handful wherever we may be. Because she hears me messing with the bag and comes running. I couldn't believe it. She was munching down on it like I just gave her, her favorite treats. I thought o.k. she just thinks it is something good and is going to stop and walk away any moment. But she didn't. She ate all of it and looked up at me. I gave her another handful and she ate almost all of that. She even turned around after eating most of the second handful to walk away, looked back at it, and then came back for more. She never eats that much at one time anymore. I think this is a winner for sure! A little on the pricey side for sure too. But the good ones usually are.
