This CD player is exactly as the seller described. The sound quality is excellent. I purchased it to listen specifically to audio books. It did not disappoint. It pairs easily with my wireless earbuds. It operates off of the USB cable as well as the electrical outlet. I would have liked battery operation as well when the power goes out, but I can live without it. It's easy to operate and I like the great looking lilac color of the player. Overall, this is a great little CD player, and I would highly recommend.

I purchased this item based on the good customer reviews. Buyers said the sound quality was great, which I found not to be the case. I returned the first one because it had a clicking noise whether playing CDs or FM radio. The second one was not as bad but still sounded tinny like the first one, so it's going back. It is quite cute. I loved the purple color.

The sound quality is great! I was surprised that it exceeded my expectations. I have tried other players that were garbage and this one is definitely not! It functions great. I only wish I could see what number song I'm listening to. But it's not a big deal. Remote works great, so glad it has one. The sound is superb and does not skip.

I have been trying to read more rather than stare at a screen so I get the book and then the CD to go with it. It makes a huge difference when an artist/actor reads the book because then I can focus on imagining the scene.The remote control buttons are a bit glitchy. For example, I push the CD player button and it doesn't like to respond or change the mode. Sometimes I just manually turn it off and back on again and that works. I'll revisit the manual and maybe I can resolve it. I like the fact that it has a memory connection link to my ear buds. I also picked this one out of all the others because the lcd display is on the front of the player instead of the top and a handle. These two features make it more user friendly.While fixing dinner, my son and I listen to one of the books he's reading and the sound quality is pretty good. Listening and following along in a copy of the book helps longer books like the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe not look so daunting for a second grader. I also have been able to get through books like Treasure Island and Robinson Crusoe and other classics I've always wanted to read. The library is my best friend!We have also listened to music and the sound is not a $600 sound system but it does the trick.I'll update after a few months to see how long the device holds out.
