Very light weight chafing dish set. We got the 3 dish setup. Materials and workmanship are good. It looks quite elegant due to the two-tone coloring. All 3 dishes fit perfectly within the water tray with no binding or slop. Water tray seems to be the appropriate depth as is typical. The setup in general feels a bit lighter in weight than the professional dishes we currently have, but they do not look anywhere as nice as this set does. Definitely nice for entertaining.I tried placing 2 disposable half steam pans in this chafing dish (sometimes you want to make life easier by throwing out the aluminum foil pans), and they fit no problem. I just wanted to make sure that this set wasn't designed to use proprietary pans....

So perfect for family dinners. This set is lovely. I ordered this dish with two inserts, which are perfect for keeping foods warm for family gatherings or having friends over for a meal. Each tray is a generous size. This would also be great for keeping salads and salad toppings chilled (using ice in the bottom tray instead of hot water) for picnics or an outdoor BBQ. I will get a lot of use out of this great dish.

Chafers are really nice to use, if you cook a lot for potlucks or lots of big meals. It’s elegant and keeps the food warm until serving. This one is nice if you have two foods that go together but are not sure if people will want both. Easy to use, to clean and to transport.

We recently had a get-together with some friends and ended up using these chafing dishes to keep some pulled pork and chicken warm, and boy did it do a fantastic job!First of all, it's quick and easy to assemble. Once assembled, you just simply add water to the water pan, then set your food pan on top of the water pan and then add your food to the food pan. We didn't end up using their fuel can holders which look very nice as well. We just simply removed those and placed our sterno cans right into the same slot and everything worked perfectly. The water stayed plenty hot and kept the food nice and warm and moist with the lid on.There's a couple of lips on the back side that will hold the lid in place when set in the opened position.Overall, this is a very elegant looking chafing dish and you will be proud to have it on your table for any event or party.

Covers came all scratched . The covers are the most important and what people see as they come up for the buffet
