This was bought for a member of my household to install. I've gotten only good feedback from them. It has been very functional and easy to use. The heat output is a good amount. It's a good quality product overall. I'm not very good at descriptions when it comes to things like this in all honesty. I do know that the recipient is pleased. That this is working well until this day.

Purpose of purchase was to burn weeds in a gravel driveway. The flame was strong and was narrow enough for small areas. Issue is the cost of propane and time involved to kill the weeds, especially broadleaf, isn’t effective for my desired outcome. Was easy to handle but arm got tired because it took so long to burn the weeds down.

I've been trying to cut back on the use of roundup around the house since there has been more awareness brought about regarding the herbicide use and human health (thank you RFK jr). So on our paver paths and rock covered flower beds I've been using this to control weeds. Been using it for about 3 weeks now and here's what I've learned.Just crack the gas on to get it to light, it won't light if there is too fast a gas flow. The flame is invisible on a sunny day. Maybe use it in the shade or one evening so you can see the flame. Before I saw what the flame looked like I was holding the nozzle too close to weeds. Seems like 6" or so away is best, depending on how high you turn the gas up. I just use it with very little gas flow and have been using the same bottle of propane for 3 weeks now. You're not trying to burn up the weeds, just get them to wilt or shrivel a little bit then move on. You will have to burn the same weed a few times until it goes away, but a small price to pay for being cancer free.Wear closed toes shoes. I've used it with sandals and felt I was seconds away from me making a careless mistake and blistering my toes. Plus you may have to stomp out a fire. I accidentally set fire to my mint plants...All worth it for keeping my property looking its best so they can keep taxing it at maximum value. Anyone else realized how evil property taxes are? You will never truly own your property, you're just renting it from the government! Don't believe me...just don't pay your taxes and see who ends up with your house.

The striker wouldn’t work. Tried several times to light it but ended up having use a lighter anyway. Otherwise it worked pretty good.

Works well but a smaller tip for more targeted burning would be better.

I like the chemical free weeder. It is easier on the back than hand weeding. The torch was a little hard to start because it takes only a whisper of gas to ignite but once I got that part down, I was able to use it just fine. I don't know yet how many repeat burnings it will take to completely be rid of the weeds but am happy so far to be using something chemical free.

The description of this item says that it has - "connection to work with standard propane tanks; tank is not included". My research has shown this to be INCORRECT for the UK. The connector is designed for the US market where the canisters have a different connector. The connectors in the UK are not compatible with this and I cannot find anyone who sells such a thing. This is unfortunate because the item is sturdy and looks to be of very quality.I cannot find a link anywhere to contact the seller.
