This propane torch is easy to set up and easy to use. I bought it mainly for killing weeds but I’m realizing there are a lot of things this could come in handy for, like melting ice and snow in the winter. The 10ft hose is nice so you don’t have to carry the tank around so much and it doesn’t have to be right next to you. The wand has decent length so you don’t have to bend over so much when killing weeds. The flame is fully adjustable from really low to super high. You adjust it with a circular valve and when you press the turbo trigger you get a full blast of maximum flame on demand. The igniter functions flawlessly and lights the flame with one push. I’ve used a lot of torches and this one is the best so far. Well worth the money.

This torch was made very well! All the parts seem to be made from quality materials. With a full tank and being able to adjust the amount of fuel used, it lasted more than I needed it to. The trigger mechanism worked flawlessly. All the attachments screwed on without any hassle. Overall very pleased and satisfied with this torch. I would recommend this one! Produced a nice consistent flame also.

I really wanted to like this torch—it puts out an impressive flame that can easily handle any task you throw at it. When it’s going, it feels like you’re holding a mini jet engine. It will absolutely burn through anything in its path.That said, the unit I received has a serious issue with the flame control. As soon as I press the trigger, it goes full blast and stays that way. The only way to stop it is to manually and forcefully pull the trigger back up. This is not only inconvenient but also a potential safety hazard.It’s a powerful tool and could be great if the trigger mechanism worked properly. Hopefully this was just a defective unit, but if you purchase it, be sure to test it thoroughly before relying on it.

This thing is powerful! When you have it going at full tilt, it sounds like a jet taking off. I have used one of these built for commercial application when we used to do asphalt patching. These things are good for killing weeds down to the root and cooking it. Just make sure you dont have anything you dont want to burn around it and do not use during dry season hear brushes. Please.

What impressed me most with this kit was how easy it was to get everything going. I just screwed the hose into the propane tank, opened the propane tank valve, opened the valve on the torch until I heard gas coming out, pressed the igniter button and it was lit. I have used it a couple times now and every time it lights right up with one press of the button. There is no fussing around trying to get the gas flow just right, no air control to adjust, it just lights and stays lit.The turbo boost switch or whatever they call it is actually kind of scary. It bypasses whatever you have set on the control valve and gives full blast. The torch actually recoils a little bit when you use it. It's awesome. Your neighbors will be concerned but they'll be too afraid to say anything.I will use this for ice in the winter and I might see how it does lighting the charcoal grill too.

This was exactly what I was looking for, to use for a very specific purpose, and it did the job!! I have an asphalt driveway at my residence, and noticed over the winter that there were potholes developing!! My local paving contractor wanted $450. to patch them!! I went to my local hardware supply and bought 100 pounds of cold mix patching asphalt, poured it in the holes which were about 2 inches deep and 3' x 4' in size, smoothed the stuff out and used this torch to heat up the edges of the holes and blended it all together!! Tamped it all down, and problem solved, for less than 1/4th the cost of the contractor price! This torch is great! VERY easy to light with the sparker switch!! VERY easy to hook the hose to the torch and the propane tank!! Flame control VERY easy to use!! And, I can see it getting used for various purposes year round!! Can hardly wait to use it to light brush fires or to melt snow and ice next winter!!
