Soak the drum in warm, soapy water for a few minutes.
Use a soft brush, not a sponge, or the blades may tear sponge.
Soft Cheese – Use It the Smart Way
1. Choose the Coarse Drum, Chill First
For soft cheese like mozzarella or cheddar, always use the coarse-hole drum (larger round holes). It prevents clogging and gives better results.
Soft cheese sticks easily. Freeze it for a few minutes before grating to reduce mess.
2. Cut Small, Press Lightly
Cut cheese into pieces that fit the slot.
Don’t force the handle, light pressure keep holding is enough. The drum will pull the cheese in and shred it smoothly.
* Pushing too hard may cause clogs.

Only buy this product if you are planning to use it on very hard cheese. It does not work on cheddar cheese. I am disappointed in that. I have not yet had an opportunity to use it for harder cheeses.

It works great on hard cheeses but not well on soft cheeses. The soft cheese gets bunched up in the grater wheel and doesn't come out. As long as you stick with just hard cheeses it works great.

This was perfect for what I needed. It is not too large. I have only used it for shredding pecorino romano and it works great.

It's simple and easy to use and you can now avoid slicing your fingers when trying to grate that last little piece of cheese. It disassembles very easily and you can throw the thing in the dishwasher.

This little grater just works super. The only thing I would caution is you must handle the blades carefully as they are sharp. I ground up a good sized chunk of Parmesan cheese in less than a minute. Wished I had bought one sooner.

Have not used it yet! But it looks like it is a sturdy piece of equipment. I like the stainless steel drums, but wonder about the plastic connectors.
