The metal is very thick so it gouges the clay more than carving it, very disappointed as this was not something I had considered when making the purchase. If not for that it would be a great set, lots of different tools.

These are great for finding out which tools you really use or need. I’d recommend for anyone new in pottery or even if you aren’t new I still use some of these tools

Decided to move on from carving and etching to give sculpting a try. This is a nice set of tools that are well made. Couldn't tell you whether or not they are professional grade but they suit my needs just fine and came at a good price.

I got this because I wanted to learn how to learn how to use clay, and so far the tools are great! The durability of the tools are very good and it's super easy to use. Definitely worth it. :)

First impressions, it's definitely a good set for gifting someone just starting on the sculpturing journey.Realistically though, whilst I love the niftiness and make of the carry pouch, it really doesn't make sense to have, even if you're moving from place to place. It would just be better to get a craft box to put the tools in, because it is a hassle getting the tools through the elastic loops, especially with them being so sharp. I got nicked twice, from different tools, whilst putting them in the case.I have yet to test the sturdiness of them, but I will update once I get into that aspect of things. I am new to sculpting, so I eagerly await this new adventure.It's definitely a great bang for the buck.

This tool set is great. I ordered for my beginner pottery class and so many of the tools are great for hand building! Excellent value as the tools I got through my class were about the same price and only came with 5 tools. You will have more than you need with this set and it makes some fun impressions and designs.

I like the set. I like that it comes with a case. What I don't like is trying to get all the pieces to fit in it correctly so it isn't so tight. Also, rolling it to close does not make sense. The snaps don't come together in any logical sense
