Most aiders for climbing sticks are made of thin line that can be hard to get your hunting boots onto, but not this one. The step makes it super easy to set your foot in and doesn’t get stuck on your boots. You'll only be using this on the bottom stick, which will gain quite a bit of reach. I did add some hot glue to keep the line positioned properly. I don't totally trust the metal crimps - they should have just tied it like I did. The line does not appear to be UHMWPE, but it could be - either way, it held up to a 220lb hunter.

This gives you a larger area to step into and it's great that it doesn't snag on boots anymore. When it comes to things like this, be sure to check all connections regularly.

This climbing stick aider allows you to place your climbing sticks a little further apart on the tree. They simply hang off the climbing stick essentially giving you an added step to help boost yourself up. Very easy to attach on a climbing stick and can be moved up on each stick as you climb. Very good addition to any climbing stick set up.

This is way better than the diy aider I built. No fighting to get my boot in a loop and has a more pronounced secure footing feel to it. I’m average weight and dont feel a flex in the abs platform piece. I was little concerned about how the ropes were linked under the platform with small metal crimps but I purposefully tried to separate the connection and couldn’t. I’ll update if any thing changes but so far love it.

This additional step up for tree climbing spikes is really a great idea especially for rough terrain areas.It is made of very durable material for heavy use,It is extremely easy to use in terms of adding it to your tree climbing stick and in using it to step-up with.AWESOME.
