I have used several brands and types of tire liners for my different bikes over the years but I have never tried self-adhesive tire liners like these CNC brand tire liners so I thought I would give them a try. When I got them and opened the box I noticed they seemed a little thicker than what I had seen before so I figured it was the adhesive strip that was causing this.I compared them to one set I had from another manufacturer (see image(the green is another MFG.)) that didn't have the adhesive and the size difference was evident.I went to install them on one of my bikes but first I wiped the inside of the tire with rubbing alcohol to help promote adhesion. This turned out to not help anyway as the adhesive strip didn't really help it stick to the tire at all. I also rounded off the ends of the liners and sanded the end edges down to help prevent pinch flats (see image). After trying to install the strips and the adhesive sticking to parts of the tire now and then, it made the installation more difficult than non-adhesive tire liners. They do seem like they are tougher to puncture than the other liners based on a little testing, so that is always a good thing. The adhesive not working as intended and making installation harder was a let down. All in all, these are good tough tire liners and I would buy more for my other bike tires, I would just neutralize the adhesive and use them as regular tire liners because they do seem tougher than others I have used.

I recently tried the CNC Bike Tire Liners with my 700c tires, and I must say, I’m quite impressed. The self-adhesive design made installation a breeze, even for someone like me who isn’t a bike mechanic. The liners adhered firmly to the inner tube, and I didn’t experience any slipping or misalignment during installation. I rode through areas with sharp debris, including glass and thorns, and the liners provided excellent protection against punctures and flats. The high-quality material is both lightweight and durable, and I could feel the difference in toughness compared to other liners I’ve used in the past. The added thickness of 1.2mm provided an extra layer of security without adding noticeable weight to my ride. The initial low viscosity of the adhesive allowed for easy adjustments during installation, which was a thoughtful feature. So far, I’ve had no issues with flats or damage, and I’m confident these liners will hold up well over time. Overall, this product has significantly enhanced my riding experience, and I would definitely recommend it to fellow cyclists.

This is my first experience with this type of product. There were no instructions included, so fortunately I found a video on YouTube to help with installation. Trying to get the adhesive to stick to the tire is useless. Might as well leave the peel strip on the adhesive since it won't adhere to the tire. Or you could be smarter than me and read the description and realize you're supposed to stick it to the tube, not the tire. But instead, according to what I watched in the video, I partially mounted the tire (one side), inserted the innertube, and put a small amount of air in the innertube and then worked the liner into place. I overlapped it a little bit, maybe an inch or so to allow for expansion when inflated and also rounded the end corners with scissors. Hopefully they help to avoid flats, but anything that enters anywhere other than where the liner is located will still be a problem of course. Still, they should help a lot.

I've used the little green liners that you get from some stores. The only problem I have with them is they don't stick to the inside of your tire unless you use some double-sided tape or black tape a little glue and sometimes they just twist around on the inside and don't protect. And they aren't very thick well. I look at these and they're a lot thicker than the green ones and they have tape to stick to the inside of the tire making it easier to put the inner tube in. I just wish they would have gotten here a couple of days ago I was out for a long ride and I got a flat. So I pull out all my changing tire equipment and found out I had the wrong inner tubes wrong type of air valve not a pressed the valve but the other one and my air pumps won't work with it so I patched up the tire and it didn't quite work. Roundup taking the bus to a bike shop bought a new inner tube and the people at that bike store were nice enough to let me change my tire inside their store very good bike shop. While I was trying to reassemble the bike the green liner just fell out and there was no way I could put it back in without finding some tape but anyway I just wish I would have had these to put in their place they are thick got double stick tape on them and I believe they work a lot nicer plus they were wider than the green ones worth the money if you don't like FlatsUpdate: I have to change my tire today so I. Decided to put these in to my surprise. The tape that's on it with me. Stick to the inside of the tire no matter how many different ways I tried to make it work. Short of using some super glue to glue it in the different floor and they got stuck together and then stick to each other real nicely, but not to the tire, not get this problem.

you would think that with the adhesive backing this would be a breeze to install. NOPE! the adhesive doesn't stick to the rubber tire innards. it took me quite a long time to install on a 27.5" tire. once on though, i seem to have no problems rode the bike approx. 10 miles since install.
