Your cart is empty. The Graduated Neutral Density Kit plus includes: • graduated ND2 hard (1 F-stop) • graduated ND4 hard (2 F-stops) • graduated ND8 soft (3 F-stops) • Cokin filter holder (adapter ring sold separately) • 3 filter cases graduated Neutral Density (ND) filters allow you to reduce the amount of light reaching the sensor on a portion of your picture. This helps control the exposure difference between highlights and shadows for a more balanced exposure and dramatic effect. By rotating the filter-holder and adjusting the position of the filter up and down you can precisely control where the filter has an effect on the image.

Get a bigger size holder to your lens. If not it causes huge vignettes on the corners.

I bought this set to help with sunrise and sunset photography. It works.

Plastic is ok for me. I am an armature photographer who likes taking pictures of sunrise and sunset and sometimes landscape in general. These gradual ND filters allows for much more detail in a photo whit a bright background without over exposing the background while getting the details of the darker area in the foreground. I would recommend them. Like any lenses care must be taken when cleaning.

After reading the various reviews of mixed results, I decided to give these a try as I have an upcoming photography trip where this type of filter would be quite useful. These are actually quite good for the money; Well made, and a minimum of color cast which is what you tend to get with cheaper graduated filters. One thing I have noticed from experience, is the color cast present depends on what white balance setting your camera is on. Setting it on "daylight" tends to help.A truly great set for the price. The only thing I will say is because these are made of "optical resin", the image quality is quite good but they are very easy to scratch and a pain to keep clean. They take some care to use, but they are worth the effort. The sets out there where they're around 30 bucks and you get all the different colored ones may seem tempting, but this is truly a better investment without going into Lee or Singh-Ray territory.

I think the filters work well, but it is hard to carry them around and to find a good case for them, they need to include one.

Missing one important feature. It needs some anti-reflective coating on the filters. When shooting towards the sun, there is a massive amount of reflections between the filters and the camera. You will see the face of the lens show up in the image. It is unfortunate and the bane of my experience with this filter system. They do scratch easily, and they do affect the color of the image, but they are amazingly cheap to start with. So if you are unsure of if you want to get into the square filter collection, then I would recommend this. If you are confident that you want to use square filters, skip this kit and invest in a better system.
