These last quite a while. I bought another brand and they were not as good. So, I bought these again and am totally satisfied. As good and maybe better than the original filters.

They work great but need to be changed more often than more expensive items. I think still cost effective.

I use a tabletop Honeywell humidifier every winter. I always used Honeywell wick filters until they changed them and added the blue felt-like outer part. After reading reviews and looking at prices, I decided to try these. I'm glad I did! These are even better than the original Honeywell filters. By quite a bit. They are thicker and stiffer and don't lose their shape when wet. And the moisture output is great. I can leave the humidifier on low with these and get the same moisture output as I did with the originals set on medium. And so far they are lasting as long or longer than the originals. These are by far the best filters I've found, at any price! I've just ordered more!

The filter works great in my old Honeywell cool air humidifier. I am running it with distilled water in house since furnace dries the air so. It was the right height (about 6”) and circumference for my machine. Helps my breathing to feel better. I searched awhile before finding one that was just right.

I got these after Honeywell updated the filters to include the blue layer on the outside which resulted in less wicking ability and a MUCH shorter lifespan (1 week max vs about a month) and couldn't be happier. The cost is a fraction of what I used to pay for the original version of the Honeywell filter and they are, as far as I can tell, exactly the same if not better. These have excellent wicking with me flipping the filter over every day or two and rewetting once or twice a week just to make sure it's fully saturated (had to rewet the blue brand name ones up to two times a day because the top half would dry out). Being an evaporative humidifier which can't oversaturate the air in the room, my best measurement of performance is how much water is gone from the tank at the end of each day. With the current brand name filters the tank would be on average 60-70 percent full in the evening when I would refill. These filters consistently leave the tank down at about 20% which confirms they do a much better job at wicking and providing moisture to the air.For whatever reason I seem to get longer life than these at 4-6 weeks per filter than I used to from the original. Being a 3 pack for the price of less than two current brand name ones make this a no brainer as well and I will continue to buy moving forward.

These were too tall for my honewell hcm710. The fan sat right on top of the filter. I trimmed the filter to fit. I put 3 stars for absorbing because for some reason the humidifier is hardly putting out moisture. After running all night my tank is still almost full. Not sure if thats from not absorbing or what. I know last year it worked great with the supplied filter.

In the past I've purchased the Honeywell replacement filters but they don't hold up very well. I decided to try these replacement filters and so far I am very pleased with them. I've been using one for a little over a month now and it is still holding its shape, still absorbing the water and has not gotten moldy yet. I do turn the filter over every couple of days since the top seems to dry out but the Honeywell filters did that also. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend them.
