I just tested this with a 24V dimmable LED strip, and the power supply worked beautifully. This drew 120W at full power, but flipping the DIP switches dimmed the LEDs (you can do it while powered on). This particular strip was blinding at 24V, but at 16V the LEDs glowed, but you could look at them. Other voltages are 18V and 20.5V, for intermediate brightness levels. The soft start ("soothing") takes about 20 seconds to come to full brightness with 24V output, with the biggest brightness increase coming in the first 10 seconds. If soft start is activated and you turn the power supply off and turn it on again very soon, you'll get an abbreviated soft start. If you turn it on 10 seconds after turning it off, the LEDs appears to come on immediately. The longer you wait before turning it on, the longer the soft start, and being off for 40 seconds is enough to give you the full soft start. This appears to be a rebadged YSD-200WHC from Shenzhen Yanshuoda Technology Co., Ltd. The power supply and its box have no indication of the manufacture or the country it was made in. This power supply has a number of safety certifications, unlike generic power supplies you find for sale. "CB" stands for IECEE certification, which is a standard body accepted in over 50 countries, including the US, Canada and Europe. It meets Indian safety standards (I verified the power supply registration on the Indian standard body website). The box also claims SAA certification, which is for Australia and New Zealand. This is well-constructed. I see that it is semi-potted, with all the parts being embedded in something like epoxy. This keeps moisture and dust from the circuitry and makes it more resistant to vibration.Looking at the circuitry, I noticed what looked like a voltage selector switch. Peeling back a sticker on the side, it is indeed a voltage selector. This power supply can also operate at 220V. They probably covered it with the sticker to prevent any clueless American customers from messing with it.This is a very good power supply, and I think it is worth paying just a few extra bucks to get semi-potted construction, several voltage outputs and safety certifications compared to a generic power supply with none of those.

I have a couple of small DIN-rail mounted switches that need 12-24VDC. Previously each was powered from 12VDC 1A wall warts I cut the barrels from, and this cleaned up that mess. I have both switches powered from this power supply and I'm sure there is plenty of juice left. Its easy to wall mount, because there are indents on each end. On one end you have AC marked L, N, and ground. On the other are two DC loads out marked V+ and V-. Power is adjustable from 16VDC, 18.5VDC, 20.5VDC, and 24VDC by DIP switches. Mine arrived set to 24VDC.The power supply looks nice and I don't hear any coil whine. The only problem you may run into is tiny wire terminals. I used 18AWG, in and out, and things are fine.
