How to choose the right AC DC power adapter for your device?
Check the Voltage
1.Please find the spec label of your device and check the input voltage. It should be 24V DC, not be AC 24V or lower/higher than 24V DC. Otherwise, your device will not work or be damaged.
Check the Current
2.Check the max current your device will draw. It should be equal to or less than 2A,such as 0.5A, 1A,1.5A,2A.Otherwise, your device won’t work well and the power supply will be damaged very soon.
Check the Output Plug
3.Check the power input port of your device. Its outer diameter should be 5.5mm; inner core diameter should 2.1mm. Inner core polarity should be"+", exterior polarity should be" - ".
Or Check Your Previous Adapter
4. If you have a power supply for reference, their output voltage, plug size, polarity should be the same .If our’s current is equal to or higher than original one’s, then our Power Supply will work with your device.
Please pay attention here when plugging the AC cable, you must push the cord into it tightly and don't leave any gap there, otherwise, the power supply may not work or have serious issues like melting the ac cable and a fire hazard.

You’ll be “shocked” at how quickly the cords separate! This adaptor worked for about a year before showing signs of wear after minimal, light usage. All juncture points are now breaking apart and exposing the copper wire beneath.

The power supply itself is fully functional, however, the power cable included is junk. Off the bat, the cable only functioned with forward pressure. The fit is loose, and this is likely why you'll see other reviews with broken or exposed power cables after some usage. A loose connection can not only fry the power supply, but could damage your lights, or whatever you're using it for.Luckily, the cord from my previously blown transformer fit seamlessly into the power supply. This is why I would only suggest purchasing if you have a quality spare. If you're purchasing this to replace a blown one, chances are your old cable will work fine.Still a good power supply for the price.

The price for this power supply for my LED string light was like twice the price for this one. This is well constructed and what you would expect for a standard power supply. Well recommended.
