I get bad neck and shoulder aches every once in a while. A pillow will do fine for a while, but I guess depending on lifestyle factors, I go through cycles of sleeping more in certain positions than others, and while I should probably get some therapy or exercise more to address the root cause, my preferred fix was to search for a better pillow situation for these times when I'm tossing and turning so much more throughout the night.I was looking at a $100 similar cloud-like pillow for weeks, thinking ugh, what if its literally like every other pillow... then I saw this Zz version for about 40% less, and read reviews saying they were nearly identical except this one has the curve, so I pulled the trigger. The first night I wasn't sure - Hard to explain but most memory foam pillows are so tough to me, that when they compress it is so hard that it feels like i'm laying my head on a hard table and it physically hurts my skin. Other pillows that have a soft sponginess don't hurt my skin but just don't support my neck. I have a short neck, and I have often thought that my ideal pillow would be a smaller/shorter version of a typical contoured foam pillow, with a smaller and shorter neck hump, and a deeper head cradle indention so that my head doesn't feel so lifted. However I couldn't seem to find that combination in all of existence. So, when I originally laid on this out of the box, I was worried that it would fall into the same category as the too tough/thick pillows that I could never adopt. However, it is much softer and bouncier than other thick/foam pillows of the same size, so it didn't prop me up too high. After the 1st night I woke up in less pain than the night before. After the 2nd night, it really started growing on me. I'm about 2 weeks in now, and I love this thing. It is somehow perfect for most of my sleeping positions. I do sometimes have to flip the pillow around in the middle of the night between the higher side and the lower/curved side depending on the position I'm moving into. And very occasionally, I still reach for a slightly less dense foam pillow for a flat back position. Overall, after two weeks I have noticed less and less need for switching pillows/sides and have ended up using the curved side almost exclusively.Hands down would buy again, and will be buying at least one more. I wish I had ordered the king size version initially. Highly recommend a zippered/closable pillow case as the material is slick and cases slide off easily.TLDR; Took a few days to get used to, but this pillow's curvature options, softness, and support are just incredible for my cycles of back, side, and front/side sleeping. Highly recommend if you have neck/shoulder sleeping pain.

I tried the comfort lab version before this one. I’d hoped the bolsters being less pronounced than Comfort Lab’s would be more fitting. That portion was much nicer, but as far as squish, I wasn’t getting anything better than I did from Comfort Lab’s more expensive version. Each were too firm for me. That said, I will say you’d be safe buying this brand to save money bc there wasn’t much difference at all. The bolsters were all. Back to why I returned, it was also warm while it may have a cooling feel, that’s applicable to the case only and it warms up quickly. I found myself changing positions frequently because I was too warm. It wasn’t terrible, just not what I needed for myself

I have been looking for the right pillow for over a year. The product I was previously using had been changed for the worse when I tried to replace it. I eventually gave up and was using the best I could find out of many failed tries, but it still caused neck issues and was too hard. After many months I decided to try looking again even though I was sure I had seen everything already. Not sure if I missed this pillow before or if it’s new, but it’s PERFECT. I waited until almost the end of my return window to even try it because I was so sick of the constant disappointment when trying a new pillow. I am amazed! It’s the perfect height, neck support, and soft enough for my face without being so soft that it loses support. I have been sleeping so much better and no more neck pain. It’s quality memory foam with the right amount of give - which is hard to find anymore. Highly recommend!

Comparable to the Cushion Lab pillow, but better. At half the price.ZZ-Well on the left, Cushion Lab on the right. In my Perpetual Pursuit of Pillow Perfection, I have purchased DOZENS of pillows, including the Cushion Lab. Which was nice, but didn’t suit me. I saw this pillow on Amazon and decided to take a chance, and I’m so glad I did. This pillow is made of the same type of memory foam: same density, softness, rebound, support. The cover is made of the same silky cooling fabric (I find the silkiness uncomfortable, and use a regular pillowcase. But it IS silky and cooling; it’s the same stuff). The sides of this pillow are the same height (high and low) as the Cushion Lab.Here’s where the ZZ-Well pillow is better: it has a curve to fit my shoulder. The center of this pillow is slightly higher than the Cushion Lab’s, so my neck is supported without my head dangling, which was my main issue with the Cushion Lab. Also the raised corners of this pillow are less pronounced. I’m sure the humps are great for positioning back sleepers, but as a side sleeper those corner humps were literally in my face. The ZZ-Well has a more gentle rise.I find this pillow to be soft and cushioning but fully supportive. A nice dip for resting the head. It has a high and low side to find the best neck support. There is, as with all memory foam pillows, an off-gassing smell, but that does dissipate after a few days.Highly recommend.

This pillow is so soft and seems to always be cool. I don't have any neck issues after using it for a couple months. My only draw back is that I like satin pillows and the pillow is also kind of a slippery material. So the pillow slides easy and pushes my hubbys pillow off the bed. I mean I sleep good though soooo still 5 stars :)

I wanted to love these... ill say these were awesome for side sleeping but when I'm on my back I need more neck curve than it has. Not sure if it's got to be "broken in", but not willing to continue use bc I don't want neck hurting. Other good qualities was it was soft and had no smell, my daughter actually enjoyed using it, just not for me or my husband who have bad necks.
