I purchased a 59” shower panel on Amazon for our master bathroom from a company named, Ph7 (no doubt a Chinese company), back in 2018. It got to the point where the thermostatic control valve was becoming more and more difficult to turn on to the cold water side, until eventually all I got was scalding hot water. In an effort to order a new thermostatic control valve cartridge, I discovered that the company was no longer in business. Not wanting to have to buy a completely new shower panel, which wouldn’t match the bracket locations already drilled into my shower tile wall, I removed the valve cartridge and researched trying to obtain a replacement, not knowing that there were a million different cartridges in various sizes and diameters in the marketplace. Even local faucet parts stores in my area were perplexed as to advising any potential replacement part. There was however, one individual local part store who seemed to be able to make a couple of probable matches. One being a cartridge part that cost in excess of $180 or this cartridge part by Kimuru being sold here on Amazon for which this review is given that cost only $14. The most difficult thing to determine about this cartridge was the exact specifications as laid out in the spec. diagram photo on the webpage. And, the item dimensions on the product page only reflect a Length x Width x Height dimension as 1 x 1 x 1 inches. Rest assured, that is not accurate. In an effort to provide more clarity to those who may be in the same desperate situation I was in, I used a digital caliper to take precise measurements of the entire length of the cartridge, which is 91 millimeters or 3.606299 inches and the width of the cartridge cylinder just above first or top o-ring, which is 1.3 345” or 33.8963 millimeters. This width measurement matched exactly the same width as my original cartridge that failed, however, the length of this cartridge was 3.4 millimeters shorter than the original cartridge (which the length was 95 millimeters). Despite the fact that this cartridge was just a tad bit shorter than my original, after lubing the o-rings, I was careful not to push the new cartridge in too deep and lined the holes up perfect to secure the allen screw pin. Also, please note that my original cartridge and this cartridge is a 24 spline cartridge. You want to make sure this 24 spline count is what you need, so that your control valve knob fits just right. Once the water pressure was turned back on, there were no leaks and I had a free turning new thermostatic control valve cartridge giving me hot and cold water again.Since I just installed this new cartridge today (July 10, 2024), I am not making any representation as to the quality of this cartridge or how long it will last. However, I will provide updates as to any issues or failures that may occur when they occur. Otherwise, assume everything is working well until such time. not sure I'm going to put in into my fixture. I've never seen machined threads that were so shoddy, like someone whacked it several times. it is not shipping damage as it was very well packaged.

I had hard time finding a replacement valve for a no-name shower panel. This valve was listed with dimensions that matched mine. I ordered it in summer 2021. Received in ~10 days. Perfect fit, it's been a year, the shower works well so far.

Lo utilice para mi ducha de columna, pero no me sirvió porque no mezcla el agua que se supone es la función que debe hacer, o sale el agua muy caliente o sale muy fría, no pude hacer la devolución ya que le tuvieron que hacer una pequeña modificación para que pudiera entrar bien, así que fue una compra inutil

This is advertised as a replacement for my HUDSON REED PN322 Shower. It is not a quality product and not an OEM product. It is a cheaply manufactured chinese replacement that is not only a poor fit but I suspect will leak. It can not be properly seated. Nor will the set screw socket shown in this picture align properly to allow for the unit to be used. This unit is produced with a brass shaft the protrudes from the rear of the unit this is 2-3 mm too long. This interferes with proper seating of the unit in the valve body and can not be modified in any way. Do not waste your money on this product. It ships from china and while it appears to be a good deal it will not work and now I find myself trying to return this product. the shipping will cost me more than this is worth. Amazon should be ashamed of this ruse.
