Bought this to keep my cat from licking a wound on her belly. She woke me up in the middle of the night because she was making terrible noises and I found her without the collar on. I put it back on her and she promptly stepped on the edge and walked out of it even though I had it strapped on tight. Back to the drawing board.

We got this for our cat for his hotspot treatment. It has a very thin profile which seems to make it more comfortable to wear for a longer time. It’s nice that the collar is a stretchy drawstring design which is very easy to put on and take off. And because it’s flat, it does not interfere with his sights. The downside is that it is wider than the usual cones so it gave him some hard time entering tight corners.The size guide is slightly misleading. Our cat is 17lb but he wears M size very comfortably. Instead of using weight as a guideline, it’s more important to measure the circumference of the neck to get a better fit.
