I enjoyed using this in pole saw mode as I put it to work on a new property, where corded versions would not be practical given distance from outlets, and gas versions would have annoyed my new neighbors. I’m 5'10", getting close to 60 years old, and had no struggles in holding this up high enough to drop small limbs (4" and under) that were 15' high. Yes, my shoulders got a workout, but was manageable. While the larger bar and chain leads you to believe this can do some real work, in reality it needs larger capacity batteries to handle cutting multiple limbs 4" or so as it is.The one feature I like the most when using as a pole saw is the ability to articulate the angle of the saw on the pole. This made getting at limbs in congested areas much easier and allowed the chain to rest on the limbs at an angle where gravity and chain sharpness did all the work - I just held the pole.Once limbs were taken down, I just turned this into its mini chainsaw version and cut things down to manageable lengths. As for the chain oiler, I’m not a fan and did not use. I prefer to just spray the bar and chain with lube every other cut or so than deal with the mess of bar/chain oil for pruning. I have a number of mini chainsaws, so I was used to needed to tension the chain on this saw frequently, just like all my others. You can let it run remarkably loose though without it falling off the bar grooves as long as you drop onto your cut properly from above and don’t force the saw. So far I’m perfectly happy with this saw.

Not a true pole saw. This is a mini saw that has a pole that you can attach this to. BUT it's perfect, at least for my needs. It's way lighter than true pole saws which makes it so much easier to guide them when cutting tree limbs. Comes with the 2 batteries and charger.Chain needs a bit of adjusting as when you are cutting things that can get weird loosed (think of string cheese), it can get wrapped around the chain and make it become loose and tangle it all over and that is a pain to deal with.Seems like good material and was well made, I'm super happy with my purchase.

I find this pole saw perfect for reaching medium-sized fruit trees in my backyard without any hassle. With its maximum length of 15 feet, I no longer have to worry about climbing ladders or struggling to get to those higher branches. It’s so easy to use. This battery-operated chain saw is far more convenient than my previous pole saw, which required pulling cutting blades with a rope on a pulley system. That was always a chore, but with this new saw, trimming trees has become a breeze! The cutting power is impressive, and I can tackle even thicker branches with ease. I’m glad that it comes with a spare battery and a charger. Overall, I like this pole saw because it’s efficient, user-friendly and makes tree-trimming a more enjoyable task.

Well I need to trim me some trees. I have an old hunk of timber near my sidewalk and I need to keep the branches up off the pedestrians. This looked like it would do the trick.You get everything in the picture, including a 10 inch and 8 inch bar and chain.Two batteries.Charging cable. Etc.I took it out and cut a couple branches with it. No problem.It cut really well. The engine was plenty powerful. I really like it.The only complaint I have is that the bar is and chain tension is only handled through a finger screw. You do not have the option to tighten the tension with a screw.I had the chain come loose and I had to readjust it a couple times. This could be due to my hands not being as strong as some, but I would have liked to use a screw or bolt.So, keep an eye on it. Other than that its pretty great.I recommend this.
