The corn stripper is easy to clean. It does work as intended. The scraper piece isn't very wide, but nonetheless does it's job. The "stem" piece between the scraper and handle is thin, and where it is attached to the scrapper is welded on. I question the durability of the corn stripper. It is easy to use, but if you have dexterity challenges....this may not be the ideal item. It is useful but I don't forsee I could use the item for many years to come without encountering some issues. Getting a set of 2 does make it worth the money. If stripping more than 1 ear of corn, the handle can get a bit slippery.

I would say the quality of this product is average. They do a nice job of scrapping corn off the ear, but I am concerned with the overall quality. Again, they work, but they appear a bit flimsy. For a meal, these will work, but do not expect them to be of lasting use for scrapping 100s of ears of corn.

These are very heavy duty. I have high hopes for them later this year after my corn grows. These will make removing the kernnels so much easier for the canning season.

I recently purchased this corn peeler, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. It’s compact, easy to use, and incredibly efficient at removing kernels from the cob without making a mess. The blade is sharp enough to cut through the corn cleanly, but still feels safe to handle.

For me, it’s just a tool that does the job without making things complicated. No moving parts to break, no batteries or fancy attachments. It’s become my go-to for corn, especially when I want clean cuts and less mess. Most of the ones I’ve used before had tiny plastic handles or awkward grips that made my hand sore after just one or two cobs. This one didn’t do that, and the two-pack setup meant someone else could help me prep at the same time.
