Rusted the first week. Poor design a the space or the peel is too narrow and you need to constantly clear the denee to continue. The handle is flimsy and uncomfortable.. My other Kuhn Ricon peeler is perfect

ATK recommended It and it works great albeit a little flimsy. However, there are a lot of small angles and nooks that you can’t dry and it rusted within the first few uses. I didn’t wash it in the dishwasher as I’m sure that would make it even worse. Can’t say I’d recommend it even for 5.00

WOW This cute little tool makes peeling potatoes, cucumbers, carrots so much easier. I have used the traditional one for years and years. This was a game changer.

Works great for carrots. Not a big fan yet for use on potatoes. I'm still use to my favorite old-style peeler for taters, and we cook lots of taters. But again, for carrots (and other longer/similar shaped veg it's a winner.

Great lightweight and small peeler but does the job. Very sharp and comfortable to use. It seems I grab the peeler all the time and ignore the more expensive heavy peeler.

Bought it based on America's Test Kitchen recommendation. My wife likes it better than I do. Works really well, but wish the handle was bigger size, although the shape is good.

Actually a very sharp peeler that works well. Problem is that it rusts almost from day one. Too bad.

I have use this style and brand of vegetable peeler for over three plus decades. The blade never gets dull or becomes unbalanced like some peelers do. The blade does tend to rust a little bit if you don't keep a little oil on it now and then. It is better to handwash it, then to stick it in the dishwasher with harsh chemical detergents. Other than that one insignificant point, this is one vegetable peeler that you will buy and keep forever! You will also look for them to give as hostess gifts!! I bought a new one recently when I ran across them because they're not that easy to find. I had been using my previous one since the early 1980's.
