For what you get the price is a steal. If you have weak wrists like me this is for you. The 3/8” chuck on the handle allows for either wrench operation or even impact. It totally changed flaring for me. I actually don’t mind doing it now. It’s at the cheaper end of pricing for flare tools and in my opinion it’s the best one out there.

Works for 1/4 pipe, but beyond that it left a deep groove inside the flare. So, the flares are useless. I am sending tool back. This is the second CPS tool I buy and will be the last. My micron meter is less than a year old an all the connecting ribbons inside the meter are black and rusting, so will be gone in less than a year. Buy something else.

I have bad wrist so I love this black because the ratchet gives excellent leverage for easy flailing. Huge difference I do jobs that are on an average of 15 zones. That’s a lot of fliaring and my wrists hurtSo. This is huge.
