Easy to install to replace A/C capacitor for fan. Capacitor for fan was completely did (it didn't even pop when shorted. It even comes with its own zip tie. I didn't think it was installed like that from the manufacturer, but when the replacement zip tie was included, it taught me something.

Put this on less than a month ago and it blew today when it hasn't even hit 80 degrees outside. A/C only ran a few days during this time. Terrible product.

This is all I needed for my 12KW generator to start my 5-ton multi-stage air conditioner. Without it there was no chance. The 5-ton mismatch to the generator size is still a big stretch and it barely makes it but it works; which is what matters. Will weaken over time so I did need to replace it after about 5 years but that's money well spent and I couldn't ask for a longer performance period or such a low price point.

NO NOT BUY.This device blew my AC breaker (heat pump system -not geothermal) in July 2023 - after flawlessly running for over a year. Fortunately, no other damage was done. The components on the unit were destroyed. Sorry, no pictures.

It's working good. It sounds good when it comes on & off. Note: the relay has an arrow that shows where up is. Rick left a 1 star review and his relay was side-way so it blew the start capacitor. Big no no!Update 5/31/23:On around 1/15/23 this hard start capacitor blew up (see pictures). We put the old parts back but unit was wasting more electricity than before and seem like it would good for the first 5 minutes then not put out like it should...I can't remember exactly but we ended replacing it with a mini split heat pump. So glad we did! BTW, don't buy this hard start capacitor.

product seems to work fine easy start up now

It should work but as you can see, the contacts in the potentail Relay are not aligned properly.
