Don't try to press a knob onto this pot, it's constructed in a way where if you press the shaft down even a little bit too hard, it bends the internals and you lose connection

Don’t buy these cheap CTS mini blend pots. First one I ordered only had 5 lugs! Amazon replaced it with a new blend pot. I wired it up and it has a dead short at the end of the sweep! You can wiggle the pot shaft and get it to short out. Horrible quality. Complete waste of time. Very disappointing from ALLPARTS, which is usually great. AMAZON take note these are crap!!!

The pot works very good but you need to be very careful while installing it because it will overheat and get damage if you are not carefully enough, that said, unless you know what you are doing and have a solder with temperature gauge, don't change it by yourself or it will melt

CTS pots are far Superior to Bourns pots. Recently made a mistake and bought a Bourns pot, absolutely no mechanical resistance, would move if your hand just brushed by it. Should have stuck with CTS.
